Good spirit and bad spirit springs to mind, which gets complicated when a bad apple is still good for something.

God and Satan exist in a person's heart. They are omnipresent. It is up to the person to do good or evil deeds, When the person does an evil thing, God moves away. There is a thing that reminds a person that the evil thing that he is to do is not righteous. That reminder is from God. But because of the evil intention of the physical body, the person still commits sin. The physical body wins.

How do you define evil?
A man gives a disabled pensioner a lift in his car to the clinic, = oil and petrol = greed and corruption, rather potted but an example of a persons endeavors to do the right thing is part of a ripple effect, oil your bicycle chain, turn on a light?

Have an embargo in your life on anything that makes a profit?

This came from Christianity in General closed today 2016-12-03 by Brickjectivity. He suggested to put it in Same Faith Debates or Religious Debates. Here is my answer to Neo Deist:

Many people are confused about the deity of Jesus Christ even though they are in Christianity DIR. Revelation 19:10 states: "for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." And God's coming had been prophesied about 700 years before in Isaiah 7:14 and 9:6.

peacecrusader888,
The Bible is very clear about TRUTH, John 4:23,24. The Bible even tells us that God is going to destroy all who do not love the TRUTH, 2Thessalonians 2:9-12.
The Holy Scriptures tell us that God hates liers and He hates deception, Psalms 5:6. So it is very important, even Vital that we learn what the Bible says about things. There are pseudodoctrines, and then, even worse are Cacodoctrines, which to believe could lead to death, Everlasting death!!! Reveletion 21:8, 22:15.
There is a an infinite difference between a mighty god and an Almighty God. The Bible has a prophecy about the sign of the coming of the Messiah, he would come through Maiden, Virgin, Isaiah 7:14. Then further in prophecy we are told about a child that would be born to us and rulership given, he will be called wonderful counselor, Mighty god, Eternal father, Prince of Peace, and there will be no end of his rulership, Isaiah 9:6,7. If you have a Bible that uses God's Personal name, you will see in the last of verse 7, that the zeal of Jehovah will do this. Jehovah is the Almighty God, Jesus is a Mighty God. In Hebrew the difference is very clear, YHWH is the tetragrammaton in Hebrew, and means Jehovah or El ,Shaddai, The Almighty, where the Mighty God is El Gabbohr.
Another very important thing to remember is; Jehovah God hates deception; was Jesus throwing his voice to make it just appear that God was in heaven, talking to Jesus when he was baptized, Matthew 3:16,17. Or on the mountain at the transfigureation of Jesus, Mark 9:2-8.
A couple of Scriptures make it impossible for Jesus and God to be the same person, Daniel 7:13:14, where God is sitting on His throne and Jesus is brought in before Him. The same is recorded at Revelation 5:1-7, where God is sitting on His throne and Jesus come in and takes a book out of His hand.
There are things that Jesus has no control over, only God, Matthew 20:23, 24:36.
Hint about this question that Jesus asked his disciples at Matthew 16:13-17. When Jesus asked who the people were saying that he was, Peter answered and said; You are the Christ, the SON of the living God, and Jesus said that his Father in heaven had revealed it to him.
At John 14:28 Jesus said that the Father is greater than him.
At John 20:17 Jesus dais that the Father was his Father, and his God!!! Jesus prayed to his Father very sincerely! Would he pray to himself, Matthew 26:39, Hebrews 5:7-10.
Just like a man is the head of a woman, so God is the head of Jesus, 1Corinthians 11:3. Jesus belongs to God, 1Corinthians 3:23.
Jesus said that he lives because of the Father, Proverbs 23:22, John 6:57.
The Bible tells us that Jesus was the very first of the creations by God, Colossians 1:15, Revelation 3:14.
I could go on with many more proof texts, but this should suffice, if you believe the Holy Scriptures!!!
AGAPE!!!

There are things that Jesus had control over, the law, he could keep it or break it, Jesus wanted people to follow the law as it was meant not as the law givers of the day inflicted it.
The law was not there to cause burdens but to protect and nuture, however the leaders had chosen to use the law for their own benefit.
The law is God and God is the law, not the fanciful laws of man that are self seeking.
When offered the kingdom Jesus refused, some say because it was already his, he had no need of a Kingdom, sufficient for his needs, if all obeyed the law then all shared the kingdom Gos kingdom, the kingdom of the law.
While Jesus is not with us the law still is and always will be, but while it is not kept then it is the kingdom of men and their law.

Studying "religion, history, language, hermeneutics and apologetics" makes you what?

Smarter than you when it comes to theology and studying the Bible as it was intended.

The ones who wrote the Bible were not educated men either. (Acts 4:13; John 7:14-16)

It shows. Medical conditions were thought to be demonic possessions. The earth was the center of creation. We all come from Adam and Eve, etc. A bunch of nonsense.

The NWT was a scholarly work based on the text of Westcott and Hort.

There was nothing scholarly about the NWT. The JWs had used the KJV up until the writing of the NWT, and it is nothing more than a revision of the KJV put into modern English, and changing some verses around to support JW concepts. There is a good reason why most non-JW theologians disregard it as a "serious" translation of the Bible, and it is the same reason that www.biblegateway.com refuses to list it.

"Laymen" is a term invented by the church. There were no "clergy" in first century Christianity, which means that there were no "laymen" either...

There were no astronauts either, yet here we are sending missions to the ISS as well as Mars.

Sorry, but your credentials mean nothing to me or to my God...

It is to be expected that a JW does not accept the doctorate of a theologian that disagrees with that particular sect.

As far as God goes, I am glad to hear that you speak for and know the mind of God.

Its jn the keeping of the law that Jesus was God, when called good he remarked that only God was good, referring to the law, he simply practiced the keeping of the law and therefore God was with him,
Ax a Nazerene he would be studied in the law. as a Nazerite he would be adherent to the law, as a friend he would be a sharer in the law, the Word of God.

I supose its hard in this day and age to understand a time when a child was considered to be a credit to their parents,
dad makes the rules and the son sticks to them.
Progress brings us to a day when we aske the kids for their condensation as to how things should be.

Just like his father the boy down the street?

How does a father rear a son to be like himself, sit him down and say this is the rules of behavior, watch and learn from the way I do things? Warn of perils? advise on dangers? don't do this do do that?

Are you a Jehovah's Witness?

You quoted various passages of the Old Testament and the New Testament. You seems to be well-versed in these books. What is the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit? In John 14:28, Jesus said that the Father is greater than Him. And that Jesus sits at the right hand of God (Colossians 3:1). Why? Because there is only one true God (John 17:3) Jesus said in John 10:30: "I and my Father are one." If you have seen Jesus, you have seen the Father (John 14:9). That means that the Father is in Jesus.

Yes, I am sure of that because I talk to the spirit of Ama. He resides in your heart also.

You are wrong to what you hear. In Filipino, it states: "Ang makinig sa sabi-sabi, walang bait na sarili." ("He who hears what is said, he does not have his own intelligence.") So be discerning.

My question, please.

An interesting little book by Raymond Brown, 'Jesus God and Man',
addresses the issue. In the epilogue he states; If Jesus is not 'true God of true God," then we do no know God in human terms. Even if Jesus is the most perfect creature far above all others, he can tell us only at second hand about a God who really remains almost as distant as the Unmoved Mover of Aristotle.
