does the bible ever advocate idolatry to anything and anyone besides God?

Hi Folks...

Fool;

Hmm - if you say so...lol......Seems more like it refers to the situation out in the real world to me - you know the supposedy "unclean" and "evil" that confronts us every day as the religion portrays life... What makes you think it infers idol worship..??..

Not so sure about the bible itself - but the religion for sure does condone and encourage idolatry - just look at the pope for clear example - idolised by them all and fully claiming that adulation - bow before him, kiss his ring...lol...literally both physically and metaphorically as only complete obeisance to this MORTAL MAN will suffice ;)

Yer not so sure about the bible OR the religion - they dont seem to agree with Christ much about anything - here especially - as HE told us directly that the only time to "bow" before anyone or anything - was when and if you encounter the TRUE Divine - then He said you WILL bow (before one who is not born of a woman) - and when He says this its not a command like the religion makes it - but it is merely an observation of what WILL happen in that circumstance should you ever get to experience it directly ;)

The religion makes it sound like "worship" is something that WE do voluntarily - like singing praises and grovelling trying to appease this "god" - but I assure you all - TRUE worship is an act of spirit that is beyond your mortal control entirely lol - it is an energetic phenomena - unless you ever enter into a Divine Presence then you will not worship properly at all, and here on Earth, there is no such Divine Presence to affect you so at all...we are ALL mortal, so bow before NO BODY and certainly never worship another man ;)

But look - when - if - you ever encounter the true Divine - then you will naturally "bow down" as the very energy of the Presence will dominate you completly - it literally scrambles the Mind, makes it hard to think straight - and look - your OWN energy will respond - it will "raise" to MATCH and find harmony with this NEW Presence - and so your very Soul will "sing" - give off a new vibration - you WILL become ONE with the presence itself - and look that is TRUE worship, is it not..?...

That above - He says directly to Thomas - when you encounter one who is NOT born of a woman then you will bow down and worship, that One is of the Father ...This is an observation of what will happen, what to expect - not a command at all - just simply stating what to expect when the Divine comes forth.....NO MORTAL MAN will EVER be able to affect you in such a direct manner - so indeed, bow before no mortal man, worship no man made idols - they are not Divine truth - for those with ears to hear....

Hi Folks...

Fool; Hmm - at least you go to the original translation, so thats something - but I think you are stretching the definition a bit too much there...Especially - fornication - which is clearly primarily a sexual activity - and especially - adultery - which again is clearly a sexual activity - you fail to mention that aspect at all though.. Same with harlot / whore - which are basically the same thing except for an exchange of money for services rendered...

Again a purely sexual aspect that is presented as "idol worship" - yet we know it cannot be that aspect at all - as simply - the ten commandments themselves deal with such things SEPERATELY - dont they..??.

So maybe those who taught you this see it like its idolatry - but to the god who made the rules it is something very different and IT made specific rules against each....Rule 2 if I remember says SPECIFICALLY no IDOL WORSHIP of any kind - and yet is it Rule 7..?...Tells us again SPECIFICALLY do not commit ADULTERY.....

And so you see - according TO that god idolatry and adultery are NOT the same things at all despite what you say, and that god made specific rules to cover your confusion and show you the error....

Yer - those "10 commandments" - ever noticed how the first five are all about THAT god and its superiority over us...??.. All about keeping us DOMINATED by it...Only then once it makes sure it is secure in its power, only then it gives US any laws to benefit ourselves.... That one has ALWAYS been about domination - other gods DO exist it says so clearly - but dont you dare even look in their direction it orders ;)
