White Nationalists on Trump’s Attorney General pick: ‘It’s like Christmas’

In an article titled “It’s like Christmas,” Anglin wrote “honestly, I didn’t even expect this to all come together so beautifully. It’s like we’re going to get absolutely everything we wanted…Basically, we are looking at a Daily Stormer Dream Team in the Trump administration.”

Even before Sessions was officially named as Attorney General, the Daily Stormer, a white supremacist, neo-Nazi news site, reported happily that he was being promoted to a better role. At the time, they speculated that he might be named Secretary of Defense.

“Our second favorite Trump guy (second to Bannon) has been promoted to a more prominent role,” wrote site founder Andrew Anglin, right above a photograph of Sessions.

Sessions also reportedly joked that he thought the KKK was “O.K., until I learned they smoked pot.”

I am so glad to be a Canadian.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
OK, so I guess when I went to DC and saw protesters wearing T shirts that said (and shouting) "F%$# the USA! F#@ George Bush! F%$# America! F&%$ you!" I should have just assumed that they were a true representation of Democrats or liberals in general.

No, I didn't think so.

See how that works? Or rather...doesn't? The fringe elements of any party or movement do not represent the majority. It's really not that hard to figure out.

I don't know why you think attacking democrats would bother me. That is a rather 2 dimensional way of looking at things.

Me too, but I don't think it's going to happen. Its been in the eighties most of this week and they're predicting a warmer than normal winter through January. So if we're going to get a white Christmas, it's got some serious cooling off to do down here. Uh oh. Oh darn, I've accidentally stumbled into another "racist trump supporter" thread.

Actually, this is more of a "Donald Trump appointing racist to his administration" thread.

Guys, it's not about 'look, some far-right types are supporting Trump'.It is of course absurd to characterise his supporters by the most extreme of them. This thread is about 'Trump's administration is appointing the far-right types to positions of power'. This is something rather more noteworthy.

Sorry - you must have misunderstood me. Whether or not attacking Democrats bothers you never even crossed my mind.

By the way, you may not like Jeff Sessions' political positions but he's no white supremacist or separatist.

Actually, this is more of a "Donald Trump appointing racist to his administration" thread.

You could actually check out all of the good things Sessions has done, his tremendous support for black rights and Rosa Parks.... but I know it's more fun for some to run with "reportedly saids" and "negativity" and call everyone a racist when they aren't.
