Who Created ISIS?

ISIS with a Islamic title has been killing many innocent civilians including Christians in the name of Islam.
They ISIS definitely do not represent the Islamic religion. They do have the hall marks of a beast with blood dripping from their hands.
The question is who created this monster?

Directly? The opportunists who saw a vacuum form in Iraq when the Obama Administration pulled the plug on operations long before it was time due to political promises. Indirectly, it was perhaps the failed policies of both local Muslim nations and Western foreign policy that was placed in the hands of children.

It depends at what point in time you ask the question. At the time something is happening there are a vast array of reasons, But 10-20 years or so later the reason is the CIA did it. Or at least that's how Al Queda started, so i've heard.

In a basic linear sense, Abu Musab Al Zarqawi started the group Jamaat al tawhid wal jihad that would eventually become ISIS after several name and leadership changes .

It's a bit simplistic to say he started Isis though. Anyway, the how and why are probably more pertinent than the who.

According to themselves, they sure do represent the vengeance of the God of Islam.

Far as I can tell from what I have learned, it was the "perfect marriage" of two very regretable factors.

- A large population that, having been raised in Islam for many generations, is receptive to fanatical calls to arms for the glory of God and has long given up on healthy alternatives to that "complete way of life" that is Islam.

- The social and economic turmoil that arose from the rather sudden and traumatic downfall of the oppressive yet stable Sunni regime in Iraq. Toppling the baathists opened the gates for a lot of confusion and loss of references. And as the Shia majority began to take Jobs and positions of power from the Sunnis, it also created a significant number of resentful Muslims who spent decades accustommed to taking arms against their Brothers in Faith and were now out of favor.

I believe the devil is the most likely culprit although some may be motivated by their own lusts.

I believe my understanding is that ISIS formed in Syria due to the long civil war. It expanded to Iraq because we were not able to fully restore that nation to the point where it could defend itself.

Realistically, he didn't have much of a choice. The election there backfired on us, thus allowing a Shi'i government to take charge that would not allow us to try our own soldiers and civilian personnel in our own courts if something went wrong. It was time to get out of Dodge unless we wanted a lot more Americans coming home in body bags.

Who created it? I really cannot tell for sure. Some say that its simply Islam. Some say its a false representation of Islam.

I did read an interesting article that the story is that they are a cult trying to force certain predictions to come true, such as a massive killing of Muslims in a particular place on the planet. My guess is that this is true (though my guess is not really any kind of reliable guess for other people) and that they are concerned about a lot of developments in the world and are trying to bring about the fulfillment of certain predictions. Many want to see the return of Jesus during their lifetimes and are trying to force the issue. Most seem concerned the world is going in a wrong direction and want to speed up the return of Jesus. Some probably just want to get rich and don't mind getting other people killed to achieve that.

ISIS is an extremist result of hard line Saudi Wahhabi Sunni teaching, that prophesizes the battle at the end of the world, global conflict, where the "evil" west is defeated by "good" Islam.
I host Saudi students, I asked one about this and he said it was always the Shia causing these problems, he also insisted Saddam Hussein was an evil Shia dictator.
It seemed everyone beyond his particular desert village was evil and Shia. It makes me wonder how good their education is, and whether it is similar to the Japanese school history regarding the second world war.

Cheers

The founders of ISIS created ISIS. Just kidding, but I do have one question. How many tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, and perhaps millions of people do we have to have kill and oppress people, who in their own words did so because of what the Quran says, and be expected to keep buying the their not representing Islam claim? Why didn't Allah write verses clear enough to keep a large percentage of those who claim to be Muslim every generation. There are always a few idiots in a group but Islam seems to attract them like flies in every generation, including Muhammad's. No offense meant.

Also, I am sure your not a terrorist nor do you support them. However, being a Muslim can you at least tell me what the terrorist's hope their terrorism will result in? It does not make sense in any category from the purely military to economic or even spiritual. I just do not get the mindset but maybe your as confused as I am by it.

You seem to be up on Egyptian terms. Who are Sedge and Bee? As in Cleopatra of sedge and bee, though I may be spelling them wrong.

The sedge and bee were the signs of upper and lower Egypt, I don't remember which means what though for some reason. So Cleopatra of the sedge and bee is similar to Cleopatra of the two lands, or of all Egypt.

You have to see the roots in the development of Islam, what happened during it, including after the breakup of the Ottoman Empire, machinations and 'secret service' stuff to do with the 'Young Turks' 'revolution the broken deals after WWII and establishment of Saudi 'Empire' , and other related mess ups. Internal politics and faction fighting . The Iraq invasion and decimation. The failure of the USA government to heed the advice of its own secret service when it told them ISIS was forming and could get out of control and do something about it NOW. The failure to act appropriately afterwards. Lack of enough and proper support of Peshmerga .

Stuff like that .
