We got a call yesterday from my brother-in-law, who informed us that my husband's father is dying. He is 95 years old and has had a long life, but it's still pretty sad, especially to my BIL who was all broken up when he called.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
My sympathies. I lost my father in law several years ago. I was very fond of him.
95 is an awesome lifespan, but goodbyes are most always difficult.
Be strong, and take best of care under the circumstances. I tend to think most people who are dying would want that of people around him/her.

Yes it is sad, but my dad died at 48, and my mum at 54, so yes you are lucky also.
My condolences.
Thank you, everyone. He passed away soon after I posted this. He did go out "easy".
