Church Bans Fat Members From Worship Team

If I exercised authority over a temple devoted to some god(s), I too would have strict standards for my congregation, as well as those who enter to worship. Anyone who opposes me on the matter could find some other temple to worship in. I'd be under no obligation whatsoever to please any of these random strangers complaining about how offended they are about my standards and policies.

Sounds like a traditional Baptist church. In the 60s and 70s
Baptists like eating too much.:p

Yeah, but the "standards" imposed by this church are clearly against anything Jesus would remotely support. It's not random strangers complaining, it would be the very god they claim to follow.

Religions evolve through the culture and Weltanschauung of the world and people who embrace them.

Would you tell them to go worship someone else if they were able to accurately point out if your standards ran counter to the cult of whatever deity the temple was dedicated to? Say for instance you had a temple dedicated to Aphrodite, Ishtar, Venus or another goddess heavily connected to sex and made sure that all your clergy were virgins and had to take an oath of celibacy for their duration serving at the temple; would you tell people to go worship somewhere else if they pointed out that enforcing celibacy on clergy of a sex deity doesn't make much sense?

This is not Christlike at all.

Matthew 6:28-31:
28“And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, 29yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30“But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! 31“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32“For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

This is basic Christian teaching.

Worrying about clothes, makeup, obesity, etc. is nonsense in this context. This is a Church. All are welcome.

If I exercised authority over a temple devoted to Ishtar (a very strong future possibility considering her prominent position in my pantheon as Inanna/ Ishtar/ Astarte/ Ashtoreth/ Astaroth)... say, some sacred, beautiful temple out in the desert... my entire congregation would have to meet strict physical fitness and beauty standards, as the Ishtar archetype is primarily about sex and war. Every individual who entered my temple to worship would have to meet exceptional physical standards. Exceptional. No exceptions. Exceptional athletes, exceptional warriors, the most beautiful women and the most handsome and well endowed men might be permitted, if I chose to allow it.

Perhaps, somewhere else, someone would worship Ishtar in their own way, and interpret Ishtar in their own way through their own culture and Weltanschauung. Perhaps they would be more welcoming towards those whom I would deem to be too unfit and inadequate to worship in my temple.

This seems reasonable for Ishtar, but Jesus is a completely different archetype. Mercy, unconditional love, forgiveness, compassion, humility, deliverance, salvation, etc. One might argue (as some of you here have already) that it would be unfair or hypocritical to enforce strict standards at churches worshipping Jesus. Well, churches may be about god(s) but they are also about religion. Organized religions often have standards if you wish to worship with them. Go worship Jesus in your closet if you won't meet the standards of those whom you wish to worship with.
