Just A Little Peccadillo!

Their are only two things I'm really picky on. Tea and ice cream. I have bought other types of tea, but my absolute favorite is Tazo. I just met when I get it. Which isn't too great as it costs the most. I'm a bit less picky in Ice Cream, but my favorite is Ben and Jerry's.

Back when I was vegetarian, I would eat a lot of Morningstar veggie burgers, the rest were just ucky.

Are you addicted and bound by certain brand names? Frankly there is no mayonaise but Hellmann's! Dish detergent should not be something that you would scrimp on.

I find that I can save money on certain products that have the same ingredients and the same amounts. Asprin and Ibuprofen are two key items that can be costly. If you take the time to compare, you will find that the cheaper ones have exactly the same ingredients, therefore buy the cheaper store brand if it has the same ingredients and are listed in the same order on the back of the bottle.

What name or brand are you addicted to? What is the one thing that you won't substitute anything for? Why?

Thomas's English Muffins ruled ! Nobody else's muffins could even come close to the nooks and crannies and the way the toast up, eh?

I await your reply to this world shattering subject!:D

Joyfully,
Martha
As far as coffees, I don't take price into account and tend to be eager to try anything new and classy. In fact, I think that we should make a habit of shopping for quality rather than for price. Test different products, and, if the cheaper one really is the same, go with that. Research the companies you get your products from, and try to stick to companies that give their workers fair pay and benefits. Why? Quite simply, you are probably a worker and should look out for your fellows. If they did the same, your life would be much easier. Every time the prices go down, the workers' benefits and pay go down with them. Consumers should shop and pay for each other's groceries, not just their own. If they did, they could afford a lot more in the way of nice things. Those low prices come at a price, you know.

As far as products that I'm addicted to, I have to say that Red Baron makes the best mini-pizzas in the world.

My two addictions are Heinz Ketchup and Christies salted soda crackers. Other than that I'm pretty flexible.

Since posting this some nine months ago, I thought I would revive it because of all the new members. It was a fun thread and I hope that you will add to it.

Let's hear it luvs! What is the one thing that you won't take a substitute for?

A hot topic on another little forum I visit . :) We can't get Vegemite here , but can get Marmite . Now , I have read that Marmite here in Canada isn't the same as that Down-under , which I hear is made in N.Z. ??? That Marmite here tastes much more like Vegemite ??? But can't say from personal experience { hint , hint ;) } I do like Marmite that we get here though ...

{ kreeden looking for Vegemite handouts ... } :)
