“Lord Ram gave Hanuman a quizzical look and said, "What are you, a monkey or a man?" Hanuman bowed his head reverently, folded his hands and said, "When I do not know who I am, I serve You and when I do know who I am, You and I are One.”
Tulsidas, Ramcharitmanas

“Let my idle chatter be the muttering of prayer, my every manual movement the execution of ritual gesture, my walking a ceremonial circumambulation, my eating and other acts the rite of sacrifice, my lying down prostration in worship, my every pleasure enjoyed with dedication of myself, let whatever activity is mine be some form of worship of you.”
Adi Shankaracarya, The Saundaryalahari or Flood of Beauty

“A dog will recognize his master in whatever way he dresses. The master may dress in robes, suit and tie, or stand naked, but the dog will always recognize his master. If we cannot recognize God, our beloved master, when he comes in a different dress from another religion, then we are less than that dog.”
-Radhanath Swami

निताइ dasa

Nitai's servant's servant

mora nama sune yei tara punya kshaya
mora nama laya yei tara papa haya
emana nirghrina more keba kripa kare
eka nityananda vinu jagat bhitare
preme matta nityananda kripa-avatara
uttama, adhama, kichu na kare vicara
ye age padaye, tare karaye nistara
ataeva nistarila mo-hena duracara
jaya jaya Nityananda caranaravinda
yanha haite ami painu sri radha govinda

"When someone hears my name, their piousness is lost, and when someone takes my name, they incur sin. Such a sinful and abominable person such as me, who would be merciful upon me in this whole world except for Nityananda. Lord Nityananda is maddened in Love being an incarnation of Grace. He does not conciser who is fallen or who is exalted. Whoever falls in front of Him, He delivers immediately, and that is why someone as as sinful and fallen as me was delivered. All glories, All glories to the two feet of Lord Nityananda! By whose presence, I have attained Sri Radha Govinda"-
Krsna das Kaviraj Goswami (writer of Chaitanya Charitamrta).

There is little I can teach you on theology, rather, I am here to learn from you, I can only share what moves me. Hopefully, you will see the beauty in it :praying:
Unfortunately, now always. Otherwise there would not have been a Rama-Ravana war or Mahabharata. Let us be practical.

You have a point, but i believe that is a very small example in day today life.

In our day-to-day interactions, we can always try first to be kind to people in our thoughts, words and actions. Clearly if it depends on your life or livelihood, it can be said to be another matter.

Man, I've been looking for this, awesome! I hope to present it nicely, print it off and frame it for my temple. They have three poems there framed already and as it's a Mother temple I think this'd be a nice addition, thanks Maija!
