Closed my FB account years ago... too much drama and fake posts. If you look through an account, you see all the best of people... that's not life, nor people. Try to have conversation or post about a topic, drama ensues.

Agreed on FB. I personally use it just to (again, hehe) fool around with friends and family. Posts there? I only look at the fun, funny silly ones. No reality TV (fake and beating around the bush) stuff for me

You can still use it to relieve any tension created by religious talk there tho. I personally move between the two to keep mental state balance.

Well thanks. It is not an understanding I ever created, but it is a common belief among Hindus of the Advaita and non-dual eastern schools. Advaita means non-dual (God and creation are not-two). Abrahamic religions are dualist (God and creation are two).

One has to be on the FB, but it is a pain in the neck. Too many unasked, unwanted things. Got to 'Elo' but have not made a beginning.
With strong will... and knowing how to manage FB's features haha, one can only enjoy what they want and skip what they don't like. Basically what affects the most on FB is the friends. Manage those and you're cool (mostly).
