This question guys seems to be a difficult one. Looking at leviticus 11 seems to refer only to the Isrealites, is this correct or not please as I am not seeing the word "gentile" being mentioned in it?

Well, that's at the heart of this issue I think, is that law "universal"? Chritians are saying "Jesus said to bless what you eat", I don't know where they get that but first issue is ot know for sure if leviticus 11 was meant for gentiles too.

"Gentiles" (or anyone else) really shouldn't be using the irrational, unsubstantiated, and arbitrary superstitions and social norms of some random group of ancient, primitive savages as a moral compass in the modern, civilized world.

11:2 "Say/speak to the children of Israel...(dietary guidelines)" is pretty straightforward in direction. I'd just roll with it.
There are lots of good reasons for all of us to reduce the amount of meat in our diet.
There is no "seems" about it. This is definitely referring to the Jewish people only. Thank goodness. I love bacon!! !!!

Jesus also said that "...it's not what goes into a man's mouth..." that condemns him when asked about the dietary restrictions.

I prefer seafood. /shrimp ,so forth. Since that is banned as well, seems like were both going to Hell, /joking
It is not clear. If I were you, I would just pass on those pork chops. Better safe than sorry.

I respect their devotion to their faith, but I would so lose trying to follow dietary guidelines that forbade shrimp and pork.

Gentiles are permitted to eat any moving thing with the breath of life. God said this to Noah when he stepped off the ark. However, in ancient times there was an argument if we are permitted to eat human flesh, since humans also are moving "things" with the breath of life. The conclusion is that if we developed a taste for human flesh, that might lead to murder. Nevertheless, there are small groups scattered around the world who have rituals where they eat the flesh of a wise man or courageous soldier that has died to acquire their wisdom or courage.
But also consider that Noah only took one pair of unclean animals on the ark, but took seven pairs of clean animals. So for a while after the Flood, he could only eat clean animals, if he ate a pig, and there was only one pair of pigs, there would be no pigs today.
The kosher laws are not binding on Gentiles. In fact, the Jewish consensus seems to be that there is no rational reason for these laws, and that the Jews keep them for no reason other than God said so through Moses.
I personally, as a noahide, eat pork when it is available, and I even bless it in the name of Hashem.

Well, I eat pork, I do not stone adulterers to death, I do not force my wife to leave town when she has her period, and I do not slaughter animals to burn on an alter and I do not own slaves or have concubines. What's your point?
