I was born in, grew up in, and live in Milwaukee. This is a good town with good people.

The anti-black racism has been getting out of line here on this site lately. There's only like 3 or 4 black people who post on RF in the first place, including me, and two of us are mulattoes (so it's debatable over if we count as "black" or not). Stuff like this makes me amazed that any of us still bother. I have to hand it to the Muslim posters, as well. They have a lot of perseverance, to be putting up with this type of **** day in and day out. Yes, white racism and xenophobia is alive and well. I'm greatly disappointed in many of you, who should be ashamed of yourselves. However, some of you I've come to expect this bs from.
I've been in a riot though on a much smaller scale of course.
Our city was only about 45,000 souls and about 45 + %.....ah, ethnic.
The "animals were restless" on a hot summer evening when they got
all drunk on wine from the corner "stow".
The ethnic youth began throwing wine bottles and rocks at passing
cars.
I dispatched two squad cars and when there myself in the command car.
They began rock and bottling us and a larger crowd of ethnic youths
grew.
I took a gamble and sent ALL the other cops away and stayed by myself.
Doing this took away the "targets".
I walked into the gang and talked to some that I recognized and knew
their relations.
They got real sheepish and slowly melted away.
It wasn't any "fun" to attack a lone copper who knew their parents.
Was I scared?
No.
I had a .45 auto and 3 extra magazines of ammo and I would have shot the
bastages.
I should add that I was raised dirt poor in the black neighborhoods so I
was pretty well respected even if hated for being a white cop.

The suspect was carrying a gun and refused to drop it when ordered to by the police. Cops do not have to wait until they are shot at or have a gun pointed at them before they shoot. If you do wait/hesitate, it may be the last thing you do on this earth. You will have a delayed reaction to what someone else is doing, even if only for a fraction of a second. That is all it could take for a suspect to get a lucky shot off that hits you in the head. It has happened...I worked that very case. If the suspect is not complying with your lawful orders, then you have to assume they mean you harm and will do anything to get away. The suspect(s) escalate the situation.
Secondly, the gun was stolen so it is not like the suspect was a boy scout that also sings in the church choir.
Lastly, protesters who turn to rioting are nothing but criminals. Burning down businesses, destroying cars, attacking people that had nothing to do with it...those are actions of anarchist animals, not law abiding citizens.
If BLM so much, then they need to stop killing each other. Blacks are responsible for over half the murders in the USA every year even though they make up ~13% of the population. Once you factor out most women and children, that number is less than ~5% that are responsible for those murders. It is not a white problem...it is a black problem. If you would just obey the law (or a lawful order) this crap would not happen.
If a cop tells you to put your hands up, then put your F-ing hands up. It is not a request, it is not optional and it is not negotiable. Work out the details later on in court, if it even goes that far. With all the cameras out there, the truth will be told.

I do see some members here who express disgust at the televised racial violence.
That include me of course. This thing in Wis. is disgusting.

Mulatto is an old term and most prefer "mixed" race as a descriptive noun.
It's been a loooooong time since I saw mulatto used to describe oneself.
Frankly I see "human" as a better noun.
Same with I, me, we, us, and so forth.
I'm white-skinned; of European origin though I happen to have American Indian, Sub Saharan African, and Oriental genes.
In other words I'm a mutt.

Both sides of my family are trash, and racist. The black side is black trash and the white side is white trash. I'm estranged from almost all of my relatives. However, yes, I have been exposed to a lot of diversity. I live in the hood and there's all kinds of people here.
I only used it to clarify which mixture.
