Sounds rough. For those of you who are mildly interested in the progress of my physical/mental condition (Reference, see thread on getting older), I have (finally) been diagnosed with sleep apnea, which MAY be the proximal cause of my headache, memory issues, attention deficit, inability to think or concentrate much of the time, and my headache.
Come to find out there are two kinds: obstructive (the kind that causes lots of snoring), and central (which doesn't cause snoring much, which is why they didn't identify this as a possible problem before), but does involve my brain failing to tell my body to breathe and my brain subsequently not getting enough oxygen, down to harmful levels.
So, I've been prescribed a Bi-PAP (similar to a CPAP, but forces air in and out), but so far insurance isn't agreeing to pay for it. Hopefully, that will get resolved this week and this treatment will result in some relief. As it is, I've requested sick leave for the fall, in the hopes that I'll get better before spring. If there's sufficient interest, I'll keep people posted.

Be strong and resolute...and remember to bring a pic-a-nic basket for the recovery room!Laser retina reattachment today., in a few hours... I don't mind telling you all that I am not looking forward to this
Glad to hear it went well! Take it easy, though!DANG!!! I forgot the pic-a-nic basket....
But procedure done and I have to say, laser is much less painful and takes much less recovery time than the freezing procedure I went through last time
Glad to hear it went well! Take it easy, though!
Good for you! Me, I suck at naming things. Naming characters usually has me going to an online list of boy or girl names, rolling a dice, and picking the name that has the number that matches what my dice rolled. Objects tend to be what the item is followed by thingy, such as "memory thingy" or "router thingy" or "android thingy" or "book thingy."My true name is Marko( as it is spelled) but i will be Anetta within 2 years( legally needed time to change my body into what I want .
This is noway meaningless announcement. I will look better than the avatar I have.

I'm feeling the same. I'm going to be able to say I'm starting hormones while I'm still in my 20s, and though I want to tell everyone and shed the final bits of a shell that has kept me from having an enjoyable life, I'm still having to strategically plan on coming out to the rest of my family and friends. I was going to tell my sister today, but then I remembered I can't do that yet because if I tell her before my brother then she'll end up being the one who tells him, and I haven't told my brother quiet yet because I can never get a moment alone with him. Work/School (they're the same place/thing for me) I'm not too worried about as they have some decent policies regarding transgender students.omg! I feel like I was reborn!! shadow wolf ,my dear,i feel strange;i want to run on the streets and scream them the truth ,did you feel the same?
I'm really glad to hear that things are getting better for you! I think coming out to your parents (and their supportive response) has really gotten you on the right track!I'm feeling the same. But by this time next year I'm going to be a good ways along with my transition, I'll be free of the "zoo escapee" body hair, and clothes shopping will be a necessity.
