First... Your very question is wrong and doesn't make any sense.
You asked if WE were created or evolved... Your version of THE SELF is the biggest error here.
You identify yourself as the body that has transformed from one form to another. Just that mass of flesh and blood.
While MY SELF is simply the consciousness, a part of the universal consciousness that never takes birth ir dies.... Never changes or is molded.
This self what western faiths call, Soul is me... This body is my temporary home that is bound to grow old and deteriorate.
But ME which is my soul cannot be created, destroyed, hurt, molded or altered... It's older than the conception of the universe.
To simplify, I m a part of the supreme consciousness that can never evolve.

No, I am not suggesting that at all. If I were suggesting any of that I would not have asked the question but simply stated that. And of course, I don't know what some people think, which is why I asked. Not posting your thread in the Evolution Vs. Creationism forum but the Religious Debates forum your "created" was ambiguous and didn't suggest creationism at all, particularly when you said " I was created, and then I evolved and continue to evolve." But having posted a picture of the evolution of man it's clear you are definitely talking about evolution, as in the evolution of species, which strongly suggests that your "created" referred to the mechanisms of creationism; however, in what sense were you "created"? Particularly, when you make created and evolving an either-or proposition, "Were you created or did you evolve?"

I don't know if English is your native language or not, but in the future you may want to read over your posts for clarity.

Were they formed from the dust of the ground mixed with God's spit and received the breath of life directly from the lungs of God? How did beings like you and me come to exist from the very start?
