In this video, sister Yasmin talks about the importance of the spiritual heart in the life of a believer.

Celebrities, influential people and the fantasies that they create have always shaped the world views of civilizations.

However, idols of the present time tend to be more influential due to their visibility compared to those of the past.

Idols of the present time will be compared to those of the past in an effort to critically evaluate their influence to capture the hearts of society and hence their true worthiness of the status of “idol”.

Pursuit of Happiness: Knowing Your Creator

A nice and emotional talk by sister Yasmin

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:

"Be mindful of Allah, and you'll find Him before you." (Tirmidhi)

Many assume happiness can be derived from material possessions and financial comfort. This has led many away from the source of all human emotion, our Lord and Sustainer.

Today, we unfortunately attribute objects as the source of ease rather than God Himself.

Our aim, therefore, is to identify who our Creator is and what are we to make of His qualities such as Love and Mercy.

If we can appreciate our Lord through His traits, we will surely find Him as our intimate friend who brings only happiness to those He loves.
