Who believes this and why? If you do believe it then is there any source that can prevent it?
I do believe in to types of death. One is temporary and one is eternal.

i believe death is a result of life...we're going to die that's just how it is i do not think sin has anything to do w/ it necessarily.

I do not believe that physical death is the result of sin. Almost every species on this planet inevitably dies a natural death. (This makes way for new life.) Natural death is certainly not an uniquely human trait, and there is no evidence that every species which faces it has sinned.

If by death you are referring to spiritual death then I tend to agree. That is, if sin is taken to mean a sickness of the spirit, then I suppose you could argue that sin might lead to a death of the spirit. However, I think the use of the word death here is somewhat juvenile, overly dramatic, and vaugue.

If you do believe it then is there any source that can prevent it?

Sure! Within the next generation or so, science will know enough about the mechanisms of physical death to prevent it.

As for preventing spiritual illness or death, I think there's some good advice on doing that in most religions. In the Christian tradition, I think someone should consider the advisablity of loving one's neighbor, loving God, and loving oneself as a means of guarding against spiritual illness and death.

I do believe in to types of death. One is temporary and one is eternal.

I see no compelling evidence for an eternal death.

Christians believe this because of Romans 6:23-

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"

But it's not a physical death. Obviously we will still live after we sin. It's a spiritual death. It is the spirit's separation from a relationship with God. When you sin, you are no longer in a relation ship with him until you repent and turn from that sin.

I agree with that first part, but it is also physical death. Physical death entered into the world when Eve and then Adam ate of the tree of knowledge. 1 Cor. 15:21 "For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrecction of the dead." I believe that to be talking about physical death.

Death is a result of living. Death is necesary for spiritual evolution to happen, to make room for new life, and so a soul can leave one old, worn out body, and return with a new one.

I think this is great. Linus, Aqualung and shadow wolf all have different answers, but all of them are correct. Three different religions.

However, it wasn't so Juvenile to prevent you from posting.
One main reason of religion is in the hope of preventing death or the evils that befall us, or eternal Judgment. I dont think it is juvenile at all to talk about it. we should be talking about it more.
almost nobody wants to die,but its also not right, that everyone should continue to live in the state of corruption and wickedness that the world is in.

Done here.
The idea that death was introduced into the world as a result of sin is one of the reasons fundamentalists have such a hard time accepting the facts about evolution. It's not just a matter of believing Genesis is literally true. If death existed before humans did, death can't have been caused by human sin. For some believers, that's just unacceptable.

Thanks for your comment I appreciate everyone's. I Know that I should be more specific about what im talking about, Iguess I think everyone Can read my mind. I do believe that death was in the world before Adam And Eve but they were the last of the creation of God and it was Granted to them the possibility to live for ever. to inherit the world, but not yet.
The inheritance comes through Christ not adam and eve.
I cannot explain all the ways of God nor will I attemp to, but the bible gives all we need for a foundation To grow on. God gives the increase.
Christ revealed the way for life - its not through a law of Commandments that we can please God and pleasing God has everything to do with staying alive or living forever.
According to scripture the only way to please God is through faith.
Faith-- beleives that he is and rewards those that earnestly seeks him.
Faith in God was one of the main teachings of Christ and righteousness ( love Joy Peace) is a gift for our faith. The result then is Life.
