Let's assume that Jesus has evolved or become more enlightened in 2000 years. What do you think he would be saying today? Is it possible that Jesus could be more enlightened?

I should say "son of man" or "god made man" or "God". very good point, i am also a son of Godjewscout said:And by the way i am a son of G-d too!
That is the case becuase Jesus Christ is no longer on Earth and therefore has no need to change. Noone on this thread is saying that he has changed it was more a hypothetical question asking "what if jesus were here on earth today?"ronald said:NO!
Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the sameyesterday and today and for ever.
We are commanded not to deface or erase the Name of HaShem so to be very careful many observant jews will type G-d as opposed to spelling it all the way out.why do you type it G-d?
very well put. although the people would have different ways of thinking and their priorities in different orders, the message would be the sameCeridwen018 said:Jesus' message is timeless. I don't think there's much to change.
If only the righteous are going to be saved, why would he walk around earth teaching people? Aren't the righteous going to heaven to be with God, who is Jesus? Aren't those left on earth the people who didn't get it? Isn't armageddon supposed to separate the bad from the good?chuck010342 said:first Jesus is not dead. secondly Jesus will come back in physical form just read the book of revelation if you want to know what exactly will happen. Thirdly I tend to think that Jesus would walk around the earth teaching people he would be like a wise sage taveling around the world healing people and asking them questions and teaching in parables like he did before.
I substantially agree with you, Lightkeeper. I think how a person sees Jesus is largely determined by themselves, rather than by any objective measure. Usually, for those who believe in Jesus, Jesus is a reflection of their own spirituality.Lightkeeper said:I have often thought that what we see Jesus as, we think we are. In other words if you see him as a teacher, maybe you are a teacher. I think he is a mirror in which we see our own selves or soul. As we evolve he evolves.
well since God is not a name, but a title.there is nothing that could possibly happen if the 'o' gets erased.jewscout said:We are commanded not to deface or erase the Name of HaShem so to be very careful many observant jews will type G-d as opposed to spelling it all the way out.
Better safe than sorry! :jiggy:
