I visited your site. I searched the site extensively and I found no quiz. Please tell me that it is there, and I simply did not find it. Please tell me that you have not resorted to a simple trick like this to boost your visitor count.

Your site, and the message you are attempting to spread, are a pitiful attempt to twist the sacrifice of hundreds of thousands of men and women that served in the American military over the last 300 years.

My father served three tours in Vietnam, as a Green Beret. He was killed in action, while doing what he saw as his duty - to defend the rights of all humans (not just Americans) against oppression. The right to dissent, the right to speek freely without reprisal, the right to believe as one chooses. These freedoms are taken for granted in this country, but were bought with the very blood that you cheapen so despicably. These men and women did not die for you to attempt to shame others into your political or religious belief system. I can assure you that of those people represented by the Tomb of the Unkown Soldier, at least half were Democrats, many were Atheists, some were Agnostics, most were probably Christian. Exactly as the makeup of the American demographics today.

Your twisting of this sacrifice (made by so many) is as shallow and self-serving as it is disgusting. I do not understand how anyone can degrade the memories of these individuals for the purpose of serving a political end. Pitiful, truly pitiful.

I fully appreciate the strength of your beliefs, even though I do not agree with them. Please do me a favor - in the future, please try to restrain yourself from corrupting the sacrifices made on behalf of all of our freedoms, especially for the cheapest sellout of all - political gain.

A "quiz" has the answers given. All the site does is make a biased point via rhetoric.

I am with TVOR and find it entirely offensive toward my military brother buried there.

He`s an unknown soldier, no one knows who if anyone he prayed to.
No one is denied the right to recognise their god in US schools.
Maybe you should read up on the subject.

Did he die that the name of God might be removed from the pledge to the flag for which he gave his life?

That depends on which war he died in, if it was before Korea the term "Under God" wasn`t in the pledge...

Y`know, I was just going to rip this site`s stupidity apart piece by piece, page by page as it`s so obviously wacked but it`s just not worth my time.
If you want a better audience for this crap maybe you should post it somehwere they believe everything they read.
Try a fundy site.

The site dishonors every person who has ever fought for this country.

I just want to make a quick comment on # 5. where you say qoute:

part one says website not about politics part two list a specific political agenda.

I am thinking your orignial motive of this thread was in part to ask us to look at your website. What would have been very pleasant and gotten a better reaction than this is for you to have gone to the member introduction section set-up your intro and asked people to view your homepage.

this thead is an example of why the ends do not justify the means. Whatever points you would like to explore about morality ethics and Christian values will be better recieved when you take the rage and drama out of your posts. The only thing I can assess from you based on this thread is that your love of Christ creates a hate for non-christians.....please take some time today to:

1) realize, at least here, everyone is not a Christian ...and decide for yourself if you are comfortable in this point of your life discussing morality of them

2) based on my theory that your origninal aim was to present Christanity as a religion of love than do so by putting out posts that make people smile rather than frown.

PS would you do me a big favor and open a thread in the memeber intro section tell us who we are chatting with (mine is in there too), have a cup of java (or tea or whatever) with us and not be angry by what you see here today ......

This is my third attempt to reply, the first two had a tad too much anger. Suffice it to say, I am grinding my molars to a fine powder while typing this.

I'll let others such as Pah and Sunstone rebut your post as they see fit, because I am incapable of doing so without being barred from this site (for life).

First - do not refer to me as son - you are not my father. I will stop at that.

Secondly - you can claim the moral high ground, even though the tone and intent of your post betrays you and the hatred and bigotry that you truly espouse.

Thirdly - I will take (not claim) the moral high ground, by virtue of this:
You are entitled to hold your opinion on anything and everything - and I mine. I will grant you the right to your opinions while refraining (straining mightily) from telling you how I feel about your opinions. I will take the moral high ground, even if it kills me.

I respect your opinions and strong morals Wleeper, but I am confused on some things you have stated!

The Founding Fathers were geniuses true, but not without their own faults. The condemned homosexual acts, yet kept slaves like property. Irrevelant, sorry!

I am Christian, but I do not believe everything in the Bible mostly the Old Testament! It does not condemn slavery yet does on homosexual acts. Some things are just not meant to be accepted in our modern time.

Could you please explain how two perfectly happy gay people are a threat to society and heterosexuals marriage?

And please state which law created in the New Testament that Jesus says homosexuality is wrong? (Love God Love Others) When you love others you love God!

"We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights Governments are established among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

I highlighted the words in blue beacause by denying people benefits because of who they love stops the "pursuit of happiness", "liberty" and "life"! You cannot make people love the other/same sex! It is something you are born with.

I do not endorse the practice of gay marriage, but do not oppose it! Whether or not I am right or wrong in the eyes of God or not, I can only say that by speaking out about this, in some way I am loving others!

I voted for Kerry. The battle over Kerry and Bush may be over but the war for the RIGHTS of every HUMAN will continue because there are plenty of us out here who will continue to fight to keep the rights of EVERY HUMAN ( not just humans who believe one way is the right way) from being taken away. We will also fight to make sure that EQUALITY wins, and Democracy as it is meant to be is exercised. I personally will do whatever I can to help achieve this goal.

I once opposed gay rights only for the sheer ignorant fact that I thought it was disgusting. I have changed and have much higher morals of reasoning and belief now.
Like I have said many times before, it is just like Segregation and Slavery. Eventually it will die out! Younger generations are already becoming more accepting in everything. Whites marry Blacks! Guys marry guys and Girls marry Girls! Or whatever they like! Keeping things the way they are for the sheer sake of tradition doesn't seem to serve a purpose! Because as our World changes, then way we govern and our laws must change!

I didn't vote Kerry in the election (for pretty obvious reasons) but I supported the democratic campaign all the way. I find it sincerely worrying that half of the united states seems to think the civil war is still going on. Look guys, yes, your country was created a REPUBLIC, but now it's a DEMOCRACY. You seem awful proud of this, and yet don't vote for the obvious here! ;)

I think you presume too much to think you know WHAT these men fought and died for.How do you even know one or more of them weren't homosexual or atheist?
You may have fought for 'One nation under God with Liberty and Justice for all those who think the same way I do and believe what I believe', but bottom line is that these men died to protect the liberties that allow you to come on here and voice your opinion without fear of repercussions. While I'm on the subject of presumption, don't presume you even begin to know what I - or anyone else here - understands.

Morality is largely a matter of perception. My morality is obviously not the same as yours, and that does not make it wrong, only different. That the number one deciding issue of the election was moral issues is a frightening thing, for it shows that people did not choose a candidate based on policy or ability to do the job, but rather on the basis of someone who would not just preserve a way of life they were in no way in danger of losing, but lead them on a tireless march to yesteryear, back to the good old days when things were better.When a man was a man, and the **** were shut firmly in the closet where they belong.
TVOR has nothing to be ashamed of. YOU have no right to dish out shame to people based on the fact that their opinion disagrees with yours. Not that I imagine your opinion matters much to the ones you're slinging the shame at, so it's probably a wasted effort on your part.
