Christian: Denominations?

This wasn't a "ceremonial law." IO

everything that had to do with the priest hood was covered by Ceremonial law!!! It regulated the priesthood, sacrifices, rituals, food and drink offerings,, all foreshadowed the cross and ended at the cross.... The veil of the temple was torn when Jesus was crucified,,,,showing the Most Holy Place,, only the High Priest was to enter that room and see it.....

Paul spoke until midnight, saith the scripture,,,, and you say No,, it was light out?

The scripture says Paul spoke a long while,, til DAYBREAK,,,but you say,,No,,, there were no windows?

Sr/mam,,, I do believe you are a Bible rejector...
Paul spoke UNTIL midnight. It may have been daytime on the first day when they began. Have you ever seen a typical Roman house? Can you speak with authority as to the typical architecture? These are important factors that must be taken under consideration when interpreting the texts. If you're not properly exegeting the texts, then you're not really taking them seriously and giving them their due. IOW, you reject what the texts actually say in favor of either a preconceived notion, or in favor of your own cultural hermeneutic.

The 4th commandment says to Honor God by keeping His 7th day Sabbath... The Head of the Catholic church says to forget that and keep sunday.

So,you do as you desire, but as for me and my house,,,we shall obey the Lord.
It wasn't the head of the Catholic Church in the first place, but the Bishop of Rome has upheld that tradition. So, by all means, keep obeying your own hermeneutical mismanagement.

Whatever. Go to church on Saturday for all I care. More power to you. But you don't get to disparage others and pass judgment based on your own whims of "what the bible says."

The 7th day ended at sunset,,,,So,, how is it you claim it may have been daytime???? How in God's heaven have you arrived at that erroneous conclusion?
How are you so sure that they were meeting on the 7th day? It's certainly --as you're so fond of saying, not spelled out in the text. In fact, the text explicitly says that they met on the first day. And that Paul extended his speech until midnight. How in God's name have you arrived at your erroneous conclusion?

The Mark of the Beast is the changing of God's law and enforcing that change. The day is soon coming when Sunday Observance will be the Law of the Land. It is the Mark of the Beast. So,, please don't be upset with me. All will hear this message,,, it will become louder and louder,, rising to a loud cry!

The first day follows the seventh. They met on the first. Until the midnight following. Also, you're completely discounting that Luke may not be reckoning days based on the Judaic method of reckoning.

Like I said,,,, God's days begin and end at the setting of the sun. If you keep that in mind, you will KNOW it had to me dark! How else would you propose he talked til midnight? Like most people,, they began their travle in the morning when the sun came up,,,just like the scripture tells you,, he departed at daybreak!

You seem mad at me? I don't know why. If you have been tricked,, why be upset with me,,,, Reminds me of finding out there was no santa claus,,, I was upset and felt I had been deceived.

Those who have religiously observed Sunday,, have been deceived. I didn't know these things either 30 years ago when i was in a sunday church.,,til somebody presented these things to me,,, and opened my eyes to them.

okay,,, but when you study acts,,,you will see over 80 examples of the early church keeping the 7th day Sabbath. Keep in mind 20 years had passed since Jesus was crucified,, and His followers were still keeping His 7th day sabbath. Paul kept the Sabbath Acts 17:2. Even the women kept Sabbath (Acts 16:13. ) Paul reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath (18:4).

In acts 13:42 folks were keeping Sabbath,, in Acts 13:44 nearly the entire city kept Sabbath.

The evidence is there,, if you want the the truth,, it's there. The book of Acts has of plenty of examples of Sabbath observance.

Your scary-"prophecy" tactics don't fly with me. Prophecy is a "thus saith the Lord," and this smacks more of Hollywood or late-night radio call-in shows. I respect your right to worship as you please. Why not reciprocate?

Doesn't matter. The bible still says that it was the first day of the week.

There has been no deception. Sunday worship is valid. If you want to be afraid of it, again, that's your prerogative. I prefer enlightenment to fear.

Of course it does. But it also has evidence of 1st day observance. Oh, and Luke was written closer to 45 years after the fact.

I think those that have the red-letter of edition of the Bible are going to hell. Only those who have the blue-letter edition are the true worshippers! Those that say the green-letter edition is the true Word are those who follow the Mark of the Beast! They are as deceived by the evil one as much as the red-letter edition folks. Only Blue-Letter people, who follow all 614 commandements, one more than the true Jews, are the one who will inherit the Kingdom of God! God cares above all else, above love of neighbor, above not judging one another, which day is the right day, which color of letters is the right color, when you drink water, what time you eat, what time you rise, what time you sleep.... these things are what God cares about above all else. Worship on the right day, because God will kill those who don't.

And this is considered true? This is considered love?

No. There are no scriptures that can be used as evidence of 1st day observance. You are making that up. I just debunked the twist that Satan put on Acts 20:7-11.

Many claim Acts 20:7 as proof of a worship service, but, what worship service lasts all night long and doesn't end until daybreak?

God gave us a Sabbath,, in fact,, Revelation 14:7 is a Warning to Observe His 7th day Sabbath. In His Sabbath commandment is where we find those items mentioned in Revelation 14:7 "heaven, earth, and the seas"

"For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth and the seas and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it." Exodus 20:11

Only God can make a day Holy. God blessed the Sabbath, and when God blesses, no man can "reverse it" Numbers 23:20

God says: " My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that has gone out of My lips." Psalm 89:34. NOTICE that the 10 Commandments came from His lips. Exodus 20:1 says "and God spoke all these words, saying...[ the 10 commandments follow in verses 2-17 ].

God didn't change His law. If God was going to change His law,, why didn't He change it so that His Son didn't have to hang on a cross in order to save humanity?
God didn't change His law,, and no man has the authority to tamper with God's law. But the Papacy did and they admit to changing the Sabbath from the 7th day to the 1st as a MARK of their universal power,,even to alter the Law of God.

God warned that His law would be tampered with, Daniel 7:25 "he shall think to change time and law".

The evidence is there.

The text plainly says that they met on the first day. 1) It's scripture. 2) it says "first day." That's biblical evidence. I'm not making it up. It's in there. "Breaking bread" in such a manner that a speaker speaks for a long time is indicative of an an example of a typical Roman symposium, which is clearly what Christian worship was modeled after. They were at worship, "breaking bread" (sharing the Eucharist -- which was what early Christian worship was all about).

Now, if you insist that Satan can, somehow, magically twist "God's Word," then you obviously think more of Satan than you do the bible.
Many claim Acts 20:7 as proof of a worship service, but, what worship service lasts all night long and doesn't end until daybreak?
Ancient, Christian worship, obviously. The symposium was a huge party. I think we can safely assume that this would have been such an occasion, since we're told that Paul was leaving the next day. If you have really studied, and really knew your church history, you'd know. This is an example of early, Christian worship on the first day.
God didn't change His law. If God was going to change His law,, why didn't He change it so that His Son didn't have to hang on a cross in order to save humanity?
Jesus didn't have to hang on a cross in order to save humanity.
I notice that all the references you use here come from the OT. But we're talking about NT practice and NT thought. the Ot is Hebrew thought. The NT is largely Greek thought. Your references prove nothing. Christianity represents a radical departure from typical, Hebrew religious thinking. It's why Jesus was hung, and it's why the Christians were thrown out of the synagogues. Apparently, God's Law does change, from the picayune keeping of minutae to the showing of radical love to one's enemies.

You've been told the truth by me. You reject it, and you twist God's Bible to justify your apostasy. Sunday observance will will be enforced. That is the Mark of the Beast.

All will hear the Truth of God's 7th day Sabbath,,just like you are now. And when all have heard the truth, the false Sunday sabbath will be enforced. All who stand under the Banner of Jesus will keep His Commandments. Those who stand under the Banner of Satan will tear down the Creator's Memorial and exalt the 1st day of the week.

"During the Rectification of the Vuldrini, the Traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the Slor that day, I can tell you!"

Really?
The litmus test of salvation, the unpardonable sin, the issue that burns in God's heart above all other possible concerns and ignites the fires of his holy wrath, hardening the heart of the creator against his creation and compelling him in the name of righteousness to withdraw his hand of grace ... is Sunday worship?

Unbelievable.

Satan has deceived nearly the entire Christian world into keeping a counterfeit to God's true Sabbath day. Satan gives all sorts of reasons for changing God's law: The disciples met, Jesus rose, the law is void, God doesn't care what day you keep,,,ect,,,ect.

What warnings does God give regarding His law and His sign, or mark?

A. God warns religious leaders against causing people to stumble by saying that some commandments do not matter (Malachi 2:7-9 ). Some preachers teach that it doesn't matter what day you keep Holy.

B. God warns people who want their ministers to preach smooth fables rather than the truth about His law (Isaiah 30:9,10) How many Sunday churches teach sermons on what exactly is the Mark of the Beast that is to be enforced on all? None.

C.God warns religious leaders who refuse to preach the prophecies of the end-time (Isaiah 29:10,11)

D. God warns people about hardening their hearts against the truth of His law (Zechariah 7:12)

E. God solemnly warns that leaders who teach there is really no difference between sacred things and common things (such as Sunday) will face Indignation (Ezekiel 22:26,31)

F. God tells us that the problems of this world are because people refuse to follow His law and have even tried to change it (Isaiah 24:4-6).

God has many people in the Sunday Churches and He is actively calling them out before the Mark of the Beast (Sunday Observance) is enforced and the Plagues fall:

"And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, My people, lest you share in her sins and receive of her plagues." Revelation 18:4
