You (like everyone else) still sin. Guess it wasn't Jesus talking to you...
(1 John 3:7-8) “My children, do not let anyone lead you astray to live a holy life is to be holy just as he is holy; to lead a sinful life is to belong to the devil, since the devil was a sinner from the beginning.”

(1 John 3: 5 - 6) “Now you know that He appeared in order to abolish sin, and that in Him there is no sin; anyone who lives in God does not sin, and anyone who sins has never seen Him or known Him.”

(1 John 3:9-10) “No one who has been begotten by God sins; because God’s seed remains inside him, he cannot sin when he has been begotten by God. In this way we distinguish the children of God from the children of the devil: anybody not living a holy life and not loving his brother is no child of God’s”

(Romans 8: 4) “He did this in order that the law’s just demands might be satisfied in us, who behave not as our unspiritual nature but as the Spirit dictates.”

(1 John 3:5-6) “Now you know that he appeared in order to abolish sin, and that in him there is no sin; anyone who lives in God does not sin, and anyone who sins has never seen him or known him.”

(Matthew 5:48) “Even the pagans do as much, do they not? You must therefore be perfect just as your heavenly Father is perfect.”

Romans 8:12-13) “So then, my brothers, there is no necessity for us to obey our unspiritual selves or to live unspiritual lives. If you do live in that way, you are doomed to die; but if by the Spirit you put an end to the misdeeds of the body you will live.”

(Romans 6: 11) “In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. ... “

Cherry picking isn't helping your case. It only shows that you have no real exegetical evidence for your position.

Modern day Christianity stems from the Catholic belief system, there are lots of concepts that came from the Nicene creed, and after from the Catholic church.

'In the New Testament, Pentecost was the occasion of the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ, as described in the Acts of the Apostles 2:1–31.'

Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

As you see the term Christian was applied to Simon peter's, and Paul's ministry after Pentecost. :innocent:

The Bible you've been given today, is a creation by the Catholic church.... They chose the books to include and remove, like take into account that the Catholics have additional books included that most don't.

So as Revelations points out, she is the Mother of all Harlots...Thus she has children, and the breast milk that is sour comes from the Bible she has distributed, where people have 66 books. :innocent:

The original followers of Yeshua, were called 'Followers of the Way'... Personally find the Ebionites closer to his teachings.

So yes the followers of Paul's teachings, have more or less been called Christians since the beginning. ;)

Jesus said the scriptures cant be broken, & no God wouldnt have like that where we cant get his word and some man is in control no God is in Control & what is written is what we are supposed to live by..and im not worried about what history books says im worried about what the scriptures say Jesus said he that believeth on me as the scripture hath said.. So that what im going to do and if there is anything left out ima let God be responsable

No. The church is continuous, from its inception through the diaspora church, through the establishment of the church as an imperial religion, through the RCC as it became identified in 1054.
