...HELP! I need ideas!! :eek: There's no theme, just "fancy dress". I've got a week to come up with something - any and all ideas welcome, no matter how silly they may seem. :help:

How about wearing nothing and painting on a costume.:) You could go as Steve Irwin. Get a large carton box and go as a TV set. Wear a green hat and an orange coat and go as a carrot.

Well, here's one a friend of my mom's did: Dress up like a guy, and paint the word "E" on your shirt ('E-male'). She had a friend go with her as an attatchment :D

Well, I found this wicked pair of boots yesterday. They're knee high, skin tight, pull ons, with a three inch heel and square toe. :p I love 'em! So, I'm gonna wear my psychadelic 60s spiral patterened mini dress, and go as a Mod. Anyone got any makeup or accessory tips?

Sorry, didn't read the last post. Make your hair really big and use clunky jewelry, outragous patterns and tons of bracletes. Then rock the outfit with a pair of really big sunglasses. Add a peace sign and your there.

Well, I thought I'd share a couple pics of what I ended up looking like last night... :p It took me 40 minutes to do those eyes...unfortunately I had to size the pics so small you don't get the full effect of them, even in the close up lol. But you get the general idea. I also had this fur coat with a hood, that was about 2 inches shorter than my dress. It was a good night, I had fun (although my feet are killing me today after walking home in those boots!).

LOL the dress was the only thing I wore that wasn't vintage 60s (most of the rest I got off my mum). I bought that dress back in the early 90s, not that I've had much occasion to wear it...it is a bit hard on the eyes. I was told by several people there last night that I looked like Cilla Black (wrong hair colour, of course). :p
