I just thought it would be pretty big news if it was true. If it turns out that Russia was aiding Iraq by moving their WMDs for them...I would think that we Americans would be pretty upset.

Well at this point I think some people are wondering about the timing and the questionable intelligence in the first place..Pravda did have a current thread going and one guy made the comment and reminded everybody when the USA attacked the Russian Coney on the way to SYria.( it was real early in the war) And if you remember, the Russians didn't seem all that upset or willing to make a stink out of it..I don't know..The timing still bothers me..

I find that a lot of crap comes out just before election time, on both sides. Whether this is credible or not I have no idea...it's certainly possible, as Russia supplied MiGs, nightvision, and other equipment to Iraq right up until the war started...but still I'm skeptical. The Washington Post "has learned" this information from who, exactly?

I would love to go into politics...except for the kind of sneaky crap that goes on with misinformation on both sides during elections. I wouldn't be able to stand that.

Great post, Spinks! Especially during an election year, you have to take a shrewd look at any startling news you hear and ask, Who does this benefit?
