A perception problem

I hear that we are not to interpret scripture for what it SHOULD say. I agree! It seems someone thinks I am doing that. I am not.

I am telling you what it doesn't say. Doesn't and should are different.

I will be very happy to hear what it says according to YOU and might even change my mind about what I think it says.

I know what it doesn't say.

What it says is truth. I believe that. But they believe that even what it doesn't say is truth. That is just plain crazy imho.

To explain further, I shall say that what was written in the name of YHVH WAS the truth. But time changes all things and the truth got changed. If truth gets changed it is no longer true. Just please ask a philosopher if that is right. I am not talking about then homosexually was bad and now it isn't. I am talking about when 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 was written love does not provoke and still love does not provoke. They changed it to love is not provoked. Now it is wrong. I give an alternate so............you will know.............that I am like you wanting it to be the truth. I do not want to believe that people wrote in the name of YHVH for nothing or worse to tell us lies.

Let's break it down. Shall we? God is love. Man is made in God's image so man is love. Love is not provoked? Man is not provoked? God is not provoked? If you know the Bible you should know that God gets provoked. What man or woman has never been provoked? Jesus was provoked.

BUT does God stir up emotions in anyone? Please prove it if your answer is yes. Thank you.
