Thanks to RF!

In the last few months, I have been reviewing and examining my commitment to my faith tradition. I had taken a break from attending religious services (ok, so it was 8 years) in order to figure out what made sense at this point in my life. During that time I distanced myself from my religious community, read a lot, explored other traditions and connected with ReligiousForums.com.

I appreciate all the posts that I read here. Many were carefully researched and thoughtfully written. There are some very funny writers among the RF participants! I read widely and found that taking a broad view of religious thought was both refreshing and helpful.

Time, study, prayer and meditation helped me to work through the process that my faith tradition calls discernment. I realize that I have missed the social contact with like-minded people who attend liberal protestant churches. I have returned to the denomination that had been my spiritual home for all of my adult life. I still have questions and will continue to ponder some big issues but, for now, it feels like the right place to be.

Thanks, RF, for all your thoughts, quips, observations and opinions. I really appreciate your help as I have worked my way through this process!

Blessings to all
