Think you're forgetting the part where Paul, in Romans, stated to obey your Government, for God installed them. Which means, if you are in the armed services and your country tells you to fight, you fight.

I do not resist the laws of any nation. I do not seek to take control of government I do not vote. If the laws of the government go against the call of my Messiah then i shall not take part in it. If the government wishes to jail or execute me for that then i will not resist them. Jesus is my Lord of Lords He is my King of Kings i will follow Him.

Yes. That is their sin and they will be judged for it. Once you use satans methods to fight satan then you are just as bad as satan.

I would be fascinated to hear you explain what "sin" was committed by a newborn child at Auschwitz.

When ever did i say that a new born child at Auschwitz sinned? I don't understand what relevance this question has to the quote? Why did you ask it?

Yes our weapons are The Words of God not carnal weapons

2 Corinthians 10:4
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

So you really would stand by and let someone slaughter millions of innocents?

I asked if you would stand by and let someone slaughter millions of innocents, and you replied you would.

It was ambiguous when I read your answer as to whether the innocents sinned or the perps sinned. When I first read it, I thought the "they" was referring to the "innocents," but maybe you meant it to refer to the "someone"?

Which was it?

On another tack, do you regard self-defense as using Satan's methods?

Shedding blood in the name of God.
I'm not going to begin slinging mud at any faith. I will say, when someone sheds blood unjustly and claims to be doing God's will, that I am thoroughly appalled, wish to see justice served and feel bad for the religion smeared by said action. I feel there is a difference between killing and murder. One kills a plant or animal for food. One kills in self-defense. One murders in cold-blood. Killing is the taking of a life for just reasons. Murder is the taking of a life for unjust reasons. If someone broke into my house and started shooting at my child, I would kill them in a heart beat to save the life of my child. That is not murder, what the intruder was attempting is.

Too many people over the years have killed in the name of God, as an excuse. IMO, God creates, man destroys.

Other then quoting scripture from a bible, show me proof that God has ever killed anyone.

My "Their" was refering to your "Someone" I will be more detailed in the future with you. :)

Ok. Now self-defence would only be appropriate to me if Jesus had given me the ok to defend myself. Jesus did not give me the ok to defend myself; if i do act to defend myself then i will be doing something that Jesus told me not to do. Doing something against what Jesus told me to do is sin to me. Jesus is my Lord. Lord means master, I am a follower of Jesus therefore if i want to be a follower of Jesus i will follow Jesus instructions to me.

This is not to say that i would in the heat of the moment act to defend myself. I may indeed fail my Lord Jesus. But if i did i would be going against the will of my Messiah Jesus. I would then have to repent of such an act. I would then be forgiven that act because through Jesus i am forgiven. But if i tried to justify that act then i would show that i was not a follower of Jesus and my claim to be a Christian would be a hollow one.

I hope this answers your question clearly enough. :)

Please correct me if I'm wrong...perhaps I'm misinformed...

But I was under the impressino that most blood shed over God and/or Christianity was to defend the right to worship God/and or Christianity...not to murder those in opposition...unless you're speaking of the Burning Times...and most Christians will tell you...those who claimed to be Christian and burnt innocent people at the stake...weren't Christians...

i believe i shall correct you dawny

this nation was founded by men and women of the christian faith. .. they incountered native people here and everything was nicey nice lovey dovey until we found a bright shiney metal called gold..... then we kicked them off thier land forced them to conform to our religion and if they did not we labeled them heathens and outlaws they fought back and were butchered by better technology and larger numbers now these were the people responsible for the founding of this nation.. how many of those people are you willing to call "not real christians"? news flash dawny but for the most part when you defend a religion u defend the bad as well as the good and for the record every religion has at one time or another warred over whos god was the most powerful and which religion was right

No one found gold in New England or the Midwest, and there's very little here in the South, except maybe in Dahlonega.

There's plenty of arable land, though. That was motivation enough.
