I think it's mainly determined by how and who raised you. Or some people just never find value in what most of us consider normal and get some sort of emotional reward from hatred. Screw em.

Yes, she is one of the Phelps slaves. I had a brief conversation with her. She is entirely non-sensical. Thankfully, I had the opportunity to talk with her long enough to break her down with Biblical verse. She repeatedly tried to call the "Out of context" card, but it was unjustified. I like how Colmes notes that the contents of WBC primarily consists of the Phelps family.

That Woman! looks and acts as if she is totally zonked out on drugs.

I cannot believe that anyone could be so tacky and tasteless as to disturb the sanctity of a memorial service.

Also, it never ceases to amaze me how many persons claim to be privy to the thoughts and wishes of God. If I believed in a deity I would find such behavior blasphemous--as I do not I merely find it stupid and ugly and another good reason to dislike the mental illness of religion--sorry religionists, but honestly!

I never thought I would say this, but God bless Fox News for lacing into that hateful woman. The Phelps family have twisted a religion of love into a vile mass of hatred.
Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."
Matthew 22:39 "...'Love your neighbor as yourself."
Matthew 7:1-5 " 1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

Apparently, these verses are ignored by their so-called church. I feel terrible for my friends who believe in Christ, that they invoke His name in hatred.

These People are wrong in what they Do. God does not hate ****. Nor is he happy with the Death of Soldiers. Some Christians are just terrible examples of what we ought to stand for. These people are misguided and what they beleive does not come from the Bible, they are flase, I am sorry that they even do this it saddens my heart to see such heartless poeple there doing this. I dont even think they are saved, a saved person would not disrepsect poeple in sucha way. Please dont form a biast aginast Christians becuase of what Some Christians do...sometimes Those who call themselves Christians do wrong, very bad wrongs.

She dares to call herself a Christian! She judges when she should not judge! When she ought to be grieving for others she takes upon herself to defecate on the memories of those dead soldiers. The same soldiers that protected the right for her to do that. :verymad: :verymad: A Christian is supposed to be loving, forgiving and merciful and from what I just witnessed she was none of those things. Saying things like "God hates ****", and "Thank God for dead Soldiers" is the real curse to this nation. God hates no one... not even that woman! But it is people like this that give Christianity a bad name.

I thought the same thing. I even thought to myself, "I can't believe I'm agreeing with Sean Hannity." :D

Yeah, WBC is dispicable and I knew that this picketing of soldier's funerals was going on for a while. I am sickened by this great show of disrespect. I've heard that a group of motorcyclists goes to their protests to rev their engines to cover up the protesters.

Oh well. However, on topic, I don't think it's fair to judge Christians based on the actions of this Church. These people are NOT Christian.

Don't you realize that you are doing exactly the same thing as she is doing? You condemn gays and Wiccans in other threads and then you go on about this woman? Maybe it's time you woke up and smelled the coffee and realized that you might be just as misguided as she is.:bonk:
