God designed us -he sees us more accurately than we see ourselves.
We are like him -we act, think, create, emote, move, etc., etc., but not on the same scale.
This is not the same as having the experience of being human -but that is one of the reasons Christ became human. It allows him to better intercede on our behalf -and made certain that we could know that The Father and Son do understand things from our perspective.
23And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
24But this
man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
25Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26For such an high priest became us,
who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
28For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law,
maketh the Son, who is consecrated
14Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast
our profession.
15For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yetwithout sin. 16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
So -the Son humbled himself so that he could have a more "humanized" perspective -but so that the Father and Son could better bring us to a Godly perspective.
As for gender, the male/female relationship is analogous to what God is accomplishing -that is... Reproduction.
It is so that WE can understand HIM -and how he feels about us as his children.
He is making the children of God.
John 16:21-22
"Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you
29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate
to be conformed to the image of his
Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren
2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
21Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself
