why America has been obsessed with war for centuries

Alrighty, so do you honestly believe the world has been peaceful for the past couple centuries, except for the actions of America? Do you honestly believe all the world's ills are based on American imperialism and aggression? I'm afraid the rest of the world is not that innocent.

The USA is obsessed with war because it is a nation comprised mostly of idiots, it is greedy and paranoid and wishes to maintain control of it's populace through fear.

Yay optimist, to bad that speaks the truth for 90% of all governments, including europe. :jiggy:

Bush's re-election was hardly unanimous, Jinn. Almost half the electorate voted for Kerry. Bush didn't win by any great margin.

It appears Bush didn't win the popular vote at all, in either election.
There were widespread electoral irregularities, particularly in Florida and Ohio.

In re: preoccupation with war:
It's true most governments are arrogant and will tend toward militarism if given the chance.
The US, historically, has been particularly adept at imperialistic manipulation of foreign governments. It usually has no need for overt military intervention with US troops, but, clearly, the US will not hesitate to send expeditionary forces should they be needed to further US economic interests.
