I had rosti, which is a Swiss dish made of potatoes. It also had spring greens, parsnips and onions in it. Was served with a side of sesame spring greens (used 1/4 for the rosti and the rest as a side) and banana chutney (I didn't make it). Everything came from the farm we buy our organic veg from, as they started to make recipe boxes, which is awesome. Learn to cook new stuff and have everything in the box to make it. I've been loving it. Here's a photo:

In all honesty, I'd love it if you'd post your brisket recipe. I love brisket and have never made it very well. :(

I like a juicy brisket, so I leave all of the fat on it and cook it fat-side-up. I like to coat it in salt, pepper, Worcestershire and Sriracha sauce, and brown sugar. I'll smoke it for two hours in mesquite and apple wood and then bake it in a turkey bag for six or seven hours at 225F (add a little oil and water and poke a few holes in the top of the bag).

It doesn't give it much bark, but it's tender, juicy, and flavorful.

To be honest, I haven't been eating as well lately, lots of anxiety issues and so on. So I had a vegetable pizza today.

But I just found a Pinterest page that shows vegan Asian foods (Chinese, Japanese, Indian, etc.) and I really want to try some of those foods out! They look great (and gosh do I love people who make lists and resources for others).
