The Walking Dead

BSM1

What? Me worry?
Don't forget, he caught himself before anything bad happened and then went to the wall to remind himself that the world they are currently playing around in isn't real.

And she screamed, slapped his face, and ran away.....no, wait, she seemed to like it. The game's afoot.

He may even understand outside the wall better than inside.
I think that's the whole point.

Rick has become a certain person, and that person was forged outside the wall. It's the world outside that makes us what we are - not the fantasy world contained within. When we lose our understanding of what exists outside of our walls, we risk getting trapped within, forgetting about the true reality of existence that surrounds us. The people of Alexandria are almost completely detached from reality. Their focus is on a fragmented and limited aspect of an old way of life that, quite frankly, no longer exists. Their worries, as Sasha eloquently pointed out, are of things trivial and mundane, like making the wrong kind of meal for someone...

Rick recognized his attachment to this false reality when he reached for his gun as Pete and pretty-face walked away. To remind himself that this attachment was only temporary, he retreated to the wall, and almost embraced it. I think doing so was not too dissimilar to praying for religious people.

OK, Daryl put that bike together way too fast and it sounds way too clean. :p

Okay, so season 6 premiere. What did y'all think? I think it was a great start to the season. Looks like it's going to be an interesting one.

I was very happy to see the real show again and be forced to suffer through the ridiculously slow and poorly acted spin-off...

It was a great episode, I thought. Nice way to introduce us into the Ricktator version of Alexandria.
I think the relationship between Morgan and Rick is going to be fun to watch.

I thought the season premiere was a tad bit slow, but it wasn't a bad episode. I enjoyed it. I just wish more would have happened in 90 minutes (minus commercials.) I also wish they'd stop with the mullet "jokes" because they are tedious, excessive, and were never funny to begin with. I'm looking forward to seeing who gets Lucilled though...

Why aren't you guys talking about this show more? Should I make separate posts for the episodes I want to discuss so people will reply? Yesterday's episode was awesome. ^_^
