Dreams that come true?

Once, I called the next song on the radio. My sister still talks about how weird it was. But it was just coincidence, nothing more.
How do you know it was a coincidence and not say 'precognition'?

It wasn't really a coincidence with me, it's happens regularly.

The other day I was watching a Blue Jay on a tree and telling my Mother how I liked to see Cardinals. The next day there was a female Cardinal nesting in a bush in the yard.

That's a coincidence.

I'm thinking of taking up bird watching, that's what the real crazies do.

Except it had the rarer yellow beak. Beauty.

Because of the thousands of times I tried the same thing and failed. Eventually we all get one right.
If you truly have done it thousands of times and failed then 'coincidence' sounds like the most likely explanation. But that doesn't imply some of the more eerie stories described by the poster you responded to were coincidences.

Wanna hear the weird part? I was just watching the Blue Jays and the Cardinals play ball! Not really.

Immediately going to "Psychic" isn't fair. If you can do it, do it. Prove it. Otherwise it's a coincidence. I can throw a curveball, and I can prove it. I can swim, and I can prove it. I can't tell the future.

Not 'going to'; but considering it as a serious possibility.

In fact it has been shown statistically in parapsychology experiments that people do have a very weak precognitive ability. They are correct just very slightly above chance; so slight that it takes thousands of guesses to see any significant deviation from chance.

What can't be proved can be experienced. It might appear to be coincidences to some, but to me, I don't believe in coincidences and that everything happens for a reason.

I ask because lately I've had dreams that have come true. I remember dreaming about dancing with a girl I had a crush on and we were slow dancing together in a dark room It was just us really and a couple weeks later, I dance with this girl exactly the same way except her clothes were different and it was at a dance .
Are dreams really prophecies and not just "dreams" Is that life's way of telling people what they should do or what's going to happen. Please respond if you've had similar experiences.

Sounds like a good dream.

That's a photo of a male Cardinal, not a female one.

My current theory on the subject is that all of time already exist and so does all of the moments in it but our minds set up 'Psyhic Censors' to keep our minds structured however our subconscious can sometimes breakthrough this censer through divinatory trance, tarot cards, dreams, etc. Thus resulting in certain images or figures that appear in our minds then the mind takes the liberty of filling in the rest. But of course this is all opnion at this point.

Please beilieve whatever seems true to you.

theres no psychic forces or futureistic preditions in a dream ....this is gypsy palm reading nonsense.

all dreams are .....are you and what you know :)

there just empty voids with your imagination running wild :)

Can you please not make such stereotypically racist comments about the Romani peoples?

I've had dreams that have come true. But usually because I dreamt of things I already expected to happen anyway.

I once dreamed about eating a biscuit with my cup of tea. Four hours later it came true!

I can. I am, in fact, quite psychic indeed. For example, I'm a very good judge of what will fit through doorways (especially sofas). Or I can sense the location of the cutlery drawer in a Kitchen I've never been in. Or sometimes when I'm walking with my headphones on, I can predict where I'll be when the song ends.

I have had similar experiences several different times. I remember once I just randomly thought of a song and started singing it to myself when I was maybe twenty feet from my car.
When I got into the car and started it, my radio came on playing not only the same song, but at the same place in the song where I had left off. Trippy stuff. I'm not sure exactly what to think of things like that.
