I am really surprised by NOX's comments about homosexuals. I didn't think it was possible to still think this way these days.

It's so ironic that she is perfectly OK with insulting homosexuals with baseless accusations and claims without providing any kind of reliable objective support for these claims, but no one is aloud to insult Islam or Muslims in general. I mean, at least Islam is a choice.
NoX is a female? Wow...I did not get the vibe off the posts at all. Somehow, that makes what she says all the worst.

I know this wasn't directed at me but if all Muslims were like you or at least like the way you seem to be to me, Islam wouldn't need reform.

Thank you, this means a lot to me :)

Please believe me, I'm trying to educate Muslims to be like the me you described. I hope one day a generation of Muslims would come out to understand non Muslims and how they feel.

You have certainly made me like Islam a whole lot more. We need more people like you in the world ... I don't care what religion they belong to.

As I mentioned above :)

What about me?

Any impression about Islam you got from conversing with me?

:D

Oops, I forgot, my religion is shawurma :)

I don't know that I have the ability to evaluate your religious beliefs because there are limits to how open you can be, but no, I don't detect from you the same conservatism I see in NoX or Servant of the 1.

Yes. Being told you are similar to those two would be the opposite of a compliment, coming from me.

I know this will sound arrogant from me, but please try to find it in your heart to give them a chance. They seem to be new in interacting and socializing with non Muslims that they don't understand how they feel or think. Frankly, I was like that before. I had this thought that all non Muslims saying anything about Islam and Muslims are doing it with bad intentions, then with time I've become to understand and be who I seem to be now.

Bless you and them :)

I don't think so SG. I know plenty of Muslims who do not believe apostates and gays should be executed. My primary objection to Islamists is not their demeanor, but the content of their beliefs.

Will they outgrow these beliefs? I have no idea. I hope everyone outgrows them, for the sake of humanity, but I am not holding my breath.

Because, like it or not, the word h*mo, similar to words such as d*ke or f*g are recognized terms that demean a group of people and are very seriously frowned upon here. Since you continue to use the term, I have reported you for a breach of the terms of use here. And for the record, I am not petulant, I am pissed off at the juvenile and ugly use of derogatory terms used to define a singl part of who and what I am. I am a very complex human being whose sexuality is a very small part of the who of me. You clump all atheists are defending anyone gay and that is a falsehood. Please try to understand that your words are harmful to those without thick skin, which is probably none of the gay community. But it doesnt diminish the fact that using such words are wrong in every country on earth.

LoL, nope, homo is the acronym of homosexuality and I can use it. You are free not to use it but you cant restrict my freedom of expression because of your petulant mindset is disturbed by a four letter word.

By this logic, atheists would be proponents of everything religion opposes, which is clearly not the case.
But to steer the topic back, the murderous rage of Islamists when it comes to LGBT people is another clear indicator that the religion needs an enlightenment.

Then feel free to come ME and enlighten people, start from Iraq then move to Iran and Saudi ........... finally come to Turkiye, if you can :p

Also atheist people defends homo people not because of its scientific validity, just because of to be at the opposite side of religions. ;) So if religions would say the sun rises from the east, all atheists would do their best to prove "actually the sun rises from the west."

Nope. Plenty of things some religions have right, but this isn't one.
Besides, if I was going to quibble with regards to the sun, I'd suggest that it actually doesn't rise at all.

You might want to look up the term "acronym". Because it is not merely shortening a word.

I'm happy to support your actual dissidents from over here. But see the difference? You'd be free to preach the word of Islamism here.

WE love ya brother, but you still will refuse credible education and academia concerning history if it goes against what your book teaches.

Living where you do, not sure you have the freedom to change your views to much, without fear of persecution from religious police.

Nothing against you as this is what was taught to you your whole life. I Don't want to change it. But if a friend cannot be truthful, what can he be?
