Okay, so this thread is for comments and suggestions on my segment on RF radio, which I'm calling The Beatdown.

I'll flesh this out later today as I have some ideas to add, but as I'm on a smartphonw right now, I'll leave it at that for now.

Ok, so as promised, I'm now in a position to put a few thoughts here.

Anyone got any comments re: the topic today?
Either : Did you think Doc Rivers and/or Phil Jackson's approaches to pre-game prayer were appropriate?
Or : Is this sort of topic of any interest to you?

Also, I have a couple of ideas for future segments, and wondered on thoughts;

1) Bring in a guest tipster (I have an idea of someone who would be quite funny) and tip against them each week on a chosen sport (change each week) for bragging rights. Would be a quick bit to end the show with.

2) Set-up some fake interviews with sports stars, or people like the PM of Australia, splicing together some Q&A in a hopefully funny way.

Still planning on doing more sections like today's on kinda serious issues, but don't want it to JUST be serious stuff. Not really my personality to keep it too straight.

I think I should get at least 40 minutes per broadcast to explain in excruciating detail how each of you has disappointed me in the past. Plus, I get to swear. And not the poo-poo ones, the big bombs.

I think you need your own segment. I envisage a big wheel with all the RF members on it. You spin the wheel at the top of the show, and then just completely unload of whatever poor sod gets spun up.

Not only would I listen, but I'd actively hope I got spun up, just to hear how inventive you could be.

Hey Dave, Naykidape wants to know if you consider poo-flinging a sport.

Okay, so anyone with any comments regarding the show?
In your personal experience, was sports a positive or negative force in terms of building resilience?
Do you think I have what it takes to beat the celebrity tipster in our Final Four tipping showdown?
Were 2 references to Hello Kitty enough, and will @Debater Slayer agree to come on and be interviewed about all things feline?
