This covers the basics pretty well:

:flower: When you see something that seems so clear its hard to understand why someone else can not. Paul the Apostle explains this, saying: Blindness in part has happened to Israel until the full number of Gentiles have come in, then all Israel will be saved. God does things in wonderfull ways so that good may come to all of us. Love yall:flower:

Basically, because He didn't literally fulfill the Jewish prophecies!

Of course, in the view of Baha'is and most Christians, the fulfillment wasn't supposed to be literal, but spiritual!

(Which makes it all the more ironic that many Christians have rejected our Founder, Baha'u'llah, Whom we Baha'is see as the spiritual Return of Christ, for the exact same reason: the prophecies weren't fulfilled literally!)

Peace,

Which is better?

To follow the greatest words ever spoken or to follow the old traditions of man?

You choose for only you are responsible.

Basically, Jesus didn't fulfill the prophecies concerning the Messiah. In Jewish scripture there is no mention of a second coming.

It would help to know what you are talking about?

What great religious words in any religion compare to Jesus teachings?

Compare:
Leviticus 19:18
18 " 'Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.
&
Deuteronomy 6:5
5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

With:
Matthew 22:36-40
36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[b] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[c] 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Notice the similarities?

Beg pardon? The old traditions of man? I suppose G-d and the Torah don't come in anywhere?

It does seem to be a rather condescending comment.
