Heat? This is winter.
We know it's winter, because we have to wear shoes around here this time of year.

Thanks, but that's not indicative of our natural state.
Wearing both long pants and long sleeves is reserved for the months of November through February, or formal occasions.
edit: This probably goes without saying, but it is occasionally acceptable to wear both long pants and long sleeves for semi-formal events, provided the ensemble is off-set with a pair of flip flops.
