Annoying and the only reason I haven't made it stop is because I was on my phone away from connectivity to change my settings at the time.

ETA: Unsubscribed now that I was thinking about it.

I'm not a fan of the "Media" section anyway, and I see all this stuff by being here. I don't think there's a need for it, and I'm not sure how I got subscribed anyway (I'd rather this sort of thing be opt in, not opt out. )

The one I got was like "Our hot topics" which, by the by, started with the hot mess of a thread about how women should treat men. And then a bunch of pictures, mostly uploaded by our LHP friends I'm guessing based on the contents. (Nothing particularly wrong with that, I just have no desire to see the pictures anyway.)

I don't really check my email if I did I wouldn't like the news letter.

I deleted a weird RF email recently. Was that it? A good news letter would have a gossip column about posters & especially about staff.

I don't mind it.

You are talking about the messages with the Subject "Popular Topics (from religiousforums.com)", right? I have been receiving them once a week and I find them unobstrusive.

This is an excellent, low cost, approach to increasing activity in the forum. I believe it has worked very well. You have a natural talent for marketing and communication, Rex...!!'

I have a number of suggestions I would like to share with you, about alternative ways to achieve this sort of outcome in a more effective manner. Because of their unique nature, unfortunately, I cannot share them on the open forum. But I will be glad to share them with you in a confidential setting, conducive to open discussion of high power business practices.
