Satanists Overeacting

This is not in persecution of Satanists, i would just like to point out the childish acts which should be taken more seriously if you wish to have a normal discussion on the forums.

I believe that alot of Satanists (and I know this because if you search many biographies ofsatanists they will most likely bring up persecution by christians) feel persecuted by christianity, as well as many other religions, therefore in alot of places they say alot of things which are senseless and are only used to lash out from an inner rage fueled by the want to be accepted.

What im posting here is that you should stop overeacting on the forums because of this. For instance, i once was posting on a nice post about a religious text, the subject happened to bring up christianity. immediatly a satanist individual came along and said something along the lines of, "VIRGIN MARY'S BLOOD SPILLS INTO THE UNHOLY GRAIL!"

these people are usually overeacting because of inner anger and the thought that they are being persecuted by christians, when frankly most christians dont know what a satanist is...

most the people i know who are satanists are on this forum, and non of them are like this - very few of them even care what christians think

the instance you describe, was it on this forum?

i understand satanists being frustrated with being completely misrepresented, but very few of them actual internalise this frustration, or allow it to manifest itself in nonsensical ramblings....

if anything, it would be wrong to take one instance of a satanist blowing off steam to generalise that all satanists have an "inner rage fueled by the want to be accepted."

Are you joking? Everyone persecutes Christinas! I personally feel that Christianity is the wrost of all religions, Satanic dealings do not deal much with Christianity, the sub-genius church is the one of the greatest things of this century as of yet. At any rate, Satanists are persecuted by Christians, as well as by many other religions. I am not Satanist, I am saying this from the passive position of an Atheist. I have seen a good many Satanists being senslessly persecuted for being just that. They should overreact, and often they do not. They do not lash out from an attempt of being accepted, oh no, it is in self defence. Christians over react, they are not widly persecuted, in fact they are a majority, but they insist on saying that they are. Crying to those who do not sympathise for their situation, because their religion is persecuted by Christians.

I wouldn't necessarily call in inner anger. It might be the person is too dramatic, and makes things seem bigger than what it really is, or after a day of being told what you are, some people will reach thier breaking point before they talk back. And not just Christians, but most people in general don't have an idea of what Satanism really is.

Thus is utter nonsense. I doubt you have actually even spoken to a satanist.

Any LHP adherents I've came across on RF have been very nice!

Agreed, Danisty has opened up new ideas and thoughts for me to think about, but I don't think she calls herself a Satanist.

Yep, Danisty in particular, whenever I've read her posts, she seems like a delightful person!

I have never even met a satanist that had a problem with Christianity other than disagreeing with the beliefs maybe. They may have problems with the occasional Christian maybe but not the religion itself.

As for the original post. I do actually know what Lord Roghen is talking about, but he's failing to realize those people are not true followers of any LHP philosophy. I've seen some of this before on occultforums.com and most of these people are just angsty teenagers that found their way to the Church of Satan and think they know everything now. Frankly, they are annoying, but completely harmless. Ignore them. They just want to get you riled up. Did this happen on a religious forum or a Christian forum? If it was a Christian forum, you may want to consider that it could have been retaliation for Christians preaching on a Satanic forum. This happens all the time.

Also, Maxist is right that often true Satanist, Luciferians, etc. have every reason to react and often they do not. I'll admit that there have been times on this forum that I have bitten my tongue in a few debates. It's not an easy balance for us. I have to consider the feelings of everyone on this forum and try to make my points without offending everyone else while maintaining my beliefs and correcting any misunderstandings. This forum has definitely been better than most I've been to, but that doesn't make it easy. The problems come in when people assume they understand Satanism, etc. and such people usually can't be convinced they're wrong. Also remember that while I'm considering everyone else's feelings, many are not considering mine. I haven't run into much of that here, but I have had this problem on other forums.

And how does it more or less sense than your religion? Please keep in mind that it has been established that you have the ability to state things that are unkind to people who haven't prompted them in the first place. It would be much more enjoyable and within forum rules if you were to display your ability to debate or state things kindly.
