What don't you get? I said YOU GET to say what you believe the Bible says, but you will not allow me to tell you what I believe the Bible says.
I "get" that you'e making fact claims that aren't supportable.

The Bible is in English. God brings His message to people in their language.

We do not have to learn another language to understand God's Truth. You saying we do is not from God.
The bible is in Hebrew and Greek. English isn't the bible. English is a translation. The translators bring "God's message" (which I don't believe -- it's the message of the faithful about God) to people in their language. It helps to understand the truth if you know something about the original languages.

Oh how I love the Word of God!
See Matthew 19:"Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'

Did you read that?

Jesus said God made us male and female.

5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?

Did you read that?

FOR THIS REASON---a man will leave his father and mother and that the TWO will become ONE FLESH.

The male and female bodies were specifically made to become one flesh.

This shows us easily, plainly, and clearly that homosexuality is not from God.

The SUITABLE MATE that God MADE for man is a WOMAN.

Genesis 2:18

The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."

Women were CREATED for MAN.

Men were not created for man. Women were not created for women.

1 Corinthians 11:9 neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.

1 Corinthians 11:11 Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman.

Did you read that?

A woman cannot, according to the Bible, be independent of man and go with a woman; neither can a man

Show where I called you a liar. You are pretty sure that I have to learn a different language to talk to you, because you know your false teachings about the Bible will be protected. However, if I am banned from here, you all will have missed discussing with someone who knows what the truth is about the Bible, and not just a bunch of opinions by the unknowledgeable.
You opined that I was "speaking untruths." I haven't reported you, BTW. I am not "pretty sure you have to learn a different language to talk to me." You ordered me to speak English. I suggested you learn the languages of the bible. What you posted cannot be adequately discussed without resorting to the Greek terms for love that are used in the bible. You were conflating terms, so I had to find a way to separate the terms out from one another. Greek is the only real way to do that.

I don't believe you do "know the truth about the bible." I do see your opinions as fairly unknowledgeable, because you haven't provided anything other than some ephemeral reference to "obedience" to support your fact claims about the texts. When you can back up your claims with something that's got factual teeth, I may change my mind.

When two people live together without marriage, or just having sex together, this is called fornication. However, when two come together in marriage, this is a Divine binding, and that is what marriage is.
Then homosexuals should be allowed to get married, so they're not forced to fornicate. Why would you want to force people to sin?
Genesis 2:18-25 is the telling of marriage as a Divine binding. God presented Adam with Eve and established the first marriage.

Genesis 2:24 shows the basis for all marriages from then on. “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”
These are assumptions by the writer(s) of Genesis, who were ignorant about human sexuality.

Our marriage laws are not the same as their marriage laws.

It is clearly shown that marriage is an act that is part of natural life, as is sexual intercourse.
Homosexuality is part of that natural life.

This is a personal put down, a lie, and against the rules.
Then report it. That's what the button is for. If you're correct, then it's also true that telling me I think the scriptures are not plain because I don't obey, is a personal put down, a lie, and against the rules.

It's my opinion (based on what you've posted so far) that you've rather oversimplified the textual meanings. You, yourself, claim that study isn't helpful, because the teachers are "false." Therefore, based on what you, yourself have written, It's not a personal put down or a lie.

I reported this.

I wanted everyone and anyone to say whatever they wanted, but you all want to stifle me.
So now, I will report your errors.

Tell me, how is it okay that you can call the writers of the Bible sick and think you can get away with it?

Reported it for what? I'm not aware of any forum violation.

I can get away with it because they were sick. They called a man who would sacrifice his daughters to a mob of rapists "righteous," which is morally repugnant. They make the Taliban look good.

No, it shows us plainly and clearly that the biblical writers were ignorant with regard to human sexuality.

Ok. "Sick" by our standards. But by their standards, not so much, if you understand the culture and the social structure. "Sick" is a little provocative and overblown -- and not very helpful. But I get where you're coming from.

I don't doubt it was acceptable by their standards. When an entire society is infected with extreme patriarchy and religious intolerance, actions that are perverse by any reasonable standard seem perfectly acceptable. Provocative and overblown? I say it is a reasonable diagnosis.
