Why God created people that are destined for Hell...

idea

Question Everything
God does not create people to go to Hell

correct. God did not create people at all. He is cleaning up a mess that He did not create.

Hebrew Word Studies
"The English word "create" is an abstract word and a foriegn concept to the Hebrews."

should be "formed" not "created"

eternal life... "eternal" is used both to describe God and our potential for life...

Blue Letter Bible - Lexicon
aiōnios
1) without beginning and end, that which always has been and always will be
2) without beginning

We could not have eternal life if we were not already eternal...

It's not a strategy, roli, it's something you're not very familiar with: logic.
So you believe that the existence of God is not a logical position ?

As Martin Luther observed, reason is faith's greatest enemy.
And I observe faith as being the ememy of reason !!!!

Right. And they think they're real Christians, but they're not, right? So how do we--or you, for that matter--know you're not one of them?.

It really does'nt matter so much what you accept or reject, but to a Christian it matters what God the father accepts.

Do you claim to know "the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth"?
Oh no, not at all. I begin to approach an approximation of the best we can do by using the empirical method and my powers of reasoning. I find that's the best approach.

"Kroll describes intellectual growth as the progression from ignorant certainty to intelligent confusion...."
I agree with Kroll. That's why I think roli needs a little intellectual growth--he's still at the ignorant certainty stage.

I believe it's not supported by the evidence. And we have seen that your position is not supported by logic.

And I observe faith as being the ememy of reason !!!!
Exactly. I'm on the side of reason, and you're on the side of faith. I submit that history teaches us that my approach works better.

It really does'nt matter so much what you accept or reject, but to a Christian it matters what God the father accepts.
Oh, I thought we were trying to figure out the truth. Because you told us that you have it. In any case, can you answer my question?

1254. bara' (baw-raw')

A primitive root; (absolutely) to create; (qualified) to cut down (a wood), select, feed (as formative processes) -- choose, create (creator), cut down, dispatch, do, make (fat).
Strong's Hebrew Dictionary: 1254. bara' (baw-raw')

Eternal life would not be a gift of God to believers if everyone already had it. Furthermore, the LDS teaching is that man has to meet several requirements to qualify for eternal life.

John 3

14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Yes - to "cut down" something that already exists, feed, choose, make fat - this is not an ex nihilo word.

I said we were "eternal" not "eternally alive".
IMO life is something that grows / progresses... some people choose not to do this...
There is a difference between eternal and eternally alive.

Then what is their role then? If they are being created, in the knowledge that they will go to hell anyways, then why are they being created?
How can you go to a place where you are already?. Our existence on this earth is certainly not heaven , because we were "sentenced to work by the sweat of our faces" Inmates in prison were not the only ones sentenced. Death is the only way we can escape our sentence. We were all sentenced to hell.
