Is GOD real?

You can believe in anything you want. You can believe in leprechauns and unicorns for all I care. Until you can demonstrate that such things actually exist in objective reality, none of these beliefs are any better than any other.
Beliefs are only important for the benefits reflected in the believer for the purification of negativity which causes suffering and fear. Doesn't matter if one believes in GOD/ONE or not.

Agreed. Live and let live though. Far too many have tried to bash me or instill fear in order to coerce belief in their deity. That's why I get upset at Christians.

Belief can be based on faith.
I prefer likelihood.
Billions of copies of a device designed to learn and we all fail?
No one survives the last breath?

Odds are good....a few will carry on.

No, the odds are entirely against that. We understand what life is. We know that it ends. There's no reason whatsoever, outside of wishful thinking, that anything continues beyond death. Just because you want it to be true, that mean that it is.

I will never agree as you say.

The body is made to form spirit.

Everything remains. The energy and atoms get dispersed into the universe to be recycled. Not what you meant. No more conscious existence. Even consciousness get dispersed yet this happens while you live. You disperse your consciousness to your family and friends. You disperse it on these forums.

Whatever you are is constantly dispersing itself upon the universe. Everything you are will remain in some form or another. If you have children, that is a part of you that remains.

What is lost is a vessel which contained something which thought it existed.

But everything that made you, you is gone. You are an emergent property of your physical brain. When the brain stops operating, you cease to be. Your individual atoms have no consciousness of their own. They are not you.

That remains your faith. No one knows if soul exists or not, if exists how it interacts with the brain. It's a spacial assumption cannot be falsified but still you can't rule out any possibility.

No, it remains following the evidence to it's logical conclusion. Simply applying the word "faith" to anything you want is meaningless. I accept it because the evidence that we have shows that it is so. When we get more evidence, I will re-evaluate my position. It's called being rational, the furthest thing from having faith.

They are me, unless you think something else is involved.

Anyway dumb point. - I know what you meant.

It is just how I look at things. Whatever this thing is, which you think goes missing, I see no need to be concerned about it.

They're you in the same sense they are a million other people before you. They're you in the same sense they used to be part of stars. When your skin sloughs off or your hair falls out, is it still you when it goes down the drain or into the trash can? It must be pretty hard keeping track of what is "you".

That's because you're not interested at all in reality, only in what makes you feel good. That you won't agree because you reject anything that goes against your emotional comfort out of hand is nothing to be proud of.

I am what I think ....feel...believe.
If you desire to be dust.....good luck with that.

Desire is irrelevant. No matter how much you believe in an afterlife, if one doesn't actually exist, you'll just rot in the ground, having wasted your life on your knees. Your call, it means nothing to me.
