What has always existed?

According to Abrahamic religions, God was, is, and will be, forever...blah. Then he created the heavens and the earth. But i'm unfamiliar with how he created hell.

Did it happen after Lucifer rebelled?

Did God automatically create hell randomly?

Or was hell and heaven just something that existed and God just happened to show up in?

How can hell be eternal if it hadnt always existed?

That's if you believe that there is a hell, not an issue for me

Did it happen after Lucifer rebelled?
not an issue, since "Lucifer" doesn't exist in Judaism:)

Did God automatically create hell randomly?
Hell doesn't exist in Judaism, therefore, not an issue.

Or was hell and heaven just something that existed and God just happened to show up in?

this issue of hell has been firmly addressed, heaven isn't a place, it is a state of being, and for judaism the afterlife is being in the presense of HaShem.
it's not a place, not in the physical sense.

How can hell be eternal if it hadnt always existed?
:D not an issue.

Ehr, it's easilly possible in math to create a startingpoint with infinite after that. so this can also be with hell..
You don't need to be negativelly eternal to be positivilly eternal..
For the rest, I don't know :p

okay, well would someone who believes in hell like to answer my questions?

I don't know.

But it doesn't matter much...because hell isn't a part of my spiritual future.:162:

Considering the fact that Satan fell...I imagine hell became a reality if it wasn't already during the fall.

But...don't quote me on that.;)

The same way we are eternal, we hadnt always exsisted but now that we do we have no end.
Hell sounds as if it came into place after the fall of lucifer. I think the fall of him is what created hell. His domain! Then we come here to earth to choose our leader and follow them to their eternity.

That would be a hearty 10-4 ma'am, on both accounts.
Well, assuming one needs a "heaven" beyond the reality they presently enjoy.

*smiles* Thank you my dear Ymir~

Hell is a real place, and multitudes of people will spend a 1000 years there, when Christ returns to earth to set up his kingdom, to rule and reign for 1000 years.

Those that follow Satan, will suffer for a 1000 years in hell, but will be redeemed at the end of this 1000 year period, after they have suffered for their own sins.

Hell is an eternal place prepared for Satan and his angels, who never came to earth and obtained bodies, because of their rebellion against God.

Hell is also an eternal place prepared for those that have denied the Holy Ghost.

All others will be redeemed from hell, at the end of a 1000 years.

Accept Christ's sacrifice and be redeemed from your sins, so that you will not have to spend 1000 years in hell, suffering for your own sins.

Why would anyone want to suffer in hell, for a 1000 years, for their own sins, when Christ has already suffered for us ????

Accept Christ, and his saving principles and ordinances, and he will deliver you from this 1000 year torment, which has been described in scripture as the lake of fire and brimstone.

why do you believe hell exists on this planet or somewhere in the universe?. I do not believe that hell existed in the past or exists in the present time of earth's history. I just cannot believe that the God that I worship can be so cruel, as to burn the sinners in hell the minute they die. My belief is that God waits to reward all at a specific time and date of His choosing.

I do not believe that the minute you die, you are either going to heaven or hell but sleep a deep sleep as Christ said.

A deep sleep that he awoke from 3 days later.

Just read the story of Lazarus, John 11:11 "He said these things, and then announced, "Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep. I'm going to wake him up." Is one example in the bible where death is considered nothing more than a sleep.
