Is it possible for believers to believe the Bible has mistakes in it?

Robert.Evans

You will be assimilated; it is His Will.
The message is inpired. Every human word that makes up the message of the Bible cannot be said to "be inspired". The message can really be found within the words whether each word is God sent or not God sent.
So you don't think it is inherent then?

Right. The message of course is inherent but each word is not.
John 5:39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me
They look for the written word to be perfect. It isn't.
The message is YHVH is salvation.

What is it then?
You have posted words that prove words can't be trusted. Thank you.

What is what? Haha

That is a rhetorical question. It could be Jesus. He is he. It could be universe. I have to imagine your question "What is it?" means what is the unbiverse because Jesus is he not it. Oh! You can do it.

The universe is it which pays back. You shall reap what you sow.

I say " Mary did not originate him. God did it. So he came from God through Mary." And then you say:
Then Jesus wasn't human, yes?
And then I say. He was human. Was Adam human? Or maybe we won't get into the realness of one man named Adam. Was the first humaniod human?

Some questions become impossible to ask.

God put a spirit into the life force called Human. When God did it was the life form then human? If the answer is yes, then I expect my answer makes sense. If the answer is no then how did humanness orginate? Let's not talk about evolution because I haven't got the time to go over it again. I also don't have time or the money for college right now. Maybe some day......

I believe evolution is real enough but what makes human human? The Bible says humanness means in the image of God.

So what?

The image of God = the capabilities of love and reasoning. And being righteous.
God created everything. He has only rested --creating. Wonderous new things will come to be in Gods kingdom.

Romans 3

3 What, then, is the case? If some lacked faith, will their lack of faith invalidate the faithfulness of God?4 Certainly not! But let God be found true, even if every man be found a liar, just as it is written: “That you might be proved righteous in your words and might win when you are being judged.”....
9 What then? Are we in a better position? Not at all! For above we have made the charge that Jews as well as Greeks are all under sin;10 just as it is written: “There is not a righteous man, not even one;11 there is no one who has any insight; there is no one who searches for God.12 All men have turned aside, all of them have become worthless; there is no one who shows kindness, not so much as one.”13 “Their throat is an open grave; they have deceived with their tongues.” “Venom of asps is behind their lips.”14 “And their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood.”16 “Ruin and misery are in their ways,17 and they have not known the way of peace.”18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Ecclesiastes 7:20
20 For there is no righteous man on earth who always does good and never sins.

Proverbs 20:9
9 Who can say: “I have cleansed my heart;I am pure from my sin”?

Proving God is true by men's righeousness is folly.

I agree--an imperfect mortal can give ones whole heart, soul, mind and strength to be as righteous as possible. By learning and applying every utterance from God.

That means salvation by works. Learning is work. Applying is work.

Adam wasn't a person. Adam is humanity. But Adam didn't come from God. Adam came from the dust of the earth. We all are "of the earth."

No, the bible doesn't say "humanness means in the image of God." The bible says that God blew into the man's nostril's and man became nephesh -- "a lving being."

So animals who do not worship God and animals who do worship God are the same according to you. Is this correct? What other animal worships God? Do only some of each animal type worship God?

Who said "humanness means in the image of God"? It is in quotes. What is real nice about the new forum is I can access the true post whenever someone misquotes it. Nice! Huh? See the little arrow? I love it!
