Faith Defined

Faith in the scriptures isn't something static - Faith without works is dead.
Faith is something behind dynamic situations or works.
By their works you shall know them. Faith produces peace, joy, hope.

Faith leads to purification, sanctification and excludes boasting.

Without faith it is impossible to please God.

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that which is seen is made by that which does not appear.

Does God use Faith to create because Faith must have works. Are God's works good.

Science is now living in its own faith when their own science says it has taken millions of years to evolve to where we are now and they are developing the tools to change our life environment quickly without knowing the long term outcome.

Antibiotics were never thought to be a problem when it came to producing super bugs but now even meat produced is thought to be a problem for humans. Antibiotics are used in animal feeds.
It may be logically tested but most science I have seen doesn't seem practical.
Either that or it is hijacked by business and the tested results hidden.

In conclusion I say that God's Faith is tested and we all see God's works whether we believe that or not.

Man's Faith is tested and it is seen in our science and technology, and are the works.
The works of that technology could destroy all life on this planet. It could be said that it will not but it is well on the way to doing this.

I once heard faith defined as "Believing in your heart what your head tells you cannot be true."

Thats blind faith to me.

Faith? Is it conjured up in the recess of the mind or does it have it's birth in the heart?

One mysn't forget that we as recievers of the gift can only recieve what is given and to the amount it is given. Consequently a definition of faith based on foreknowledge is not faith but simple expectation ex:(I walked yesterday so I have faith I will walk today and tomorrow).

True faith on the other hand is the hope for something not seen.Living spiritual faith is simply living (not putting for putting is an inward movement) a life based on a hoped for resolution.

All to often we define our understanding based on another understanding, ex: dictionaries, Thesaurses, Encyclopedia etc. etc.

Logic by itself gives definition to faith but as individuals we tend to apply specific meaning to a word without rendering like abilities to others.

To me FAITH is hope AND trust. (I do not need to see to believe)

To you or another, Faith is recognition that the past fortells the future.(you/they must have reassurance for comparison).

I read the Holy Word of GOD (my understanding based on my faith) and I accept it as true.

You/they read the Bible and try to prove yea or nay.
