Not all religions preach sin and hell.UnConcious said:no
"yourself" is you alone, and with religion yourself is limited in fear of "sin" and "hell"
Yes. Totally. Part of me is Catholic. And I love it!!! I think it is the best part of me. I love living my faith. I don't know who'd I be without it.Lightkeeper said:Can you be religious and be who you truly are at the same time?
That is one of the things that has made it very hard for me to find my place. I don't see any difference in our place and that of the animals. I mean, if we are more intelligent, why not use that intelligence to help them, rather than use them? It is ok to control your "animalistic" urges, not to repress them.Master Vigil said:And some would believe being religious is to become more than animal, to become more divine. And thus, going against human nature is becoming more divine.

Very well putcarrdero said:That is CORRECT. Since I am an individual with personal beliefs/needs/interests I would anticipate that my REALationship with GOD (or anyONE else for that matter) would be different. Not better or more special- just different.
I believe animals to be more spiritually advanced than humans too. Even though we cannot UNDERSTAND them I really do believe theyI personally see animals as more divine than men.
