I personally am thankful for my life. I thank God for all he has given me, including my life, and so I celebrate my life on my birthday, as well I celebrate the lives of all my dear loved ones on their birthdays, and I even celebrate the life of my Savior. While I might not know the actual date of Jesus' birth, I do know he was born, and I can celebrate Him coming into this world, Thank God, on any day I choose. If I knew his birthday, I'd celebrate His birth on that day, but honestly, give me a reason to celebrate, and I will celebrate. I welcome every occasion to give thanks to God.

Student no doubt you were going to add my name but not because I gave my approval to an answer. You have yet to answer a question put to you by anyone without quoting nonapplicable scripture. Not one answer using your own brain, just constant repetition of Witnesses dogma. Why would you participate in a religious debate if you can only accept views that are in accord with yours. No one has been disrespectful or personal in disagreeing. God is everyone's God so you guys don't have the monopoly on his love.

Jehovah witnesses always come to my door drop off some kind of material then take off. Sometimes I'd like to sit and chat with them and they seem to always be in a hurry. A questions I had

1. If I'm a Christian that loves Jesus already why would I need to become a Jehovah's Witness.

2. Why did you become a Jehovah's Witness.

That should be enough questions to get the ball rolling

Hey whats going on.I am not a JW but I can answer your questions.Some JW's will knock on the door a few times and if no one answers they will leave some literature on the door.If someone answers then they will talk to you.If you invite them in they will sit with you and discuss, or answer your questions.Some are in a hurry because they have many return visits and try to do as many as they can.Much area to cover.

It's good that you love Jesus Christ already.There is more to it than that though.It's really about God.Jesus is God's messenger and Son.Jesus is not God.Many are under the impression that Jesus is God the Almighty, but this is far from the truth.Its all based on a misconception.That's why JW's preach the good news of about the Kingdom of God.

Many are under the impression that JW's is a religion.It is not.Their religion is True Christianity.The same that was preached to the 1st century Christians by Jesus Christ.They practice what was taught by Jesus.Not the false doctrines that have been spread throughout the many years after all of Jesus apostles already died.Like the Trinity People who become JW's are doing so by accepting the True Word of God and becoming baptized.They have learned the truth about Jehovah God and about His Son Jesus Christ.

Thats why the name Jehovahs Witnesses.They are witnessing to the entire planet about Jehovah God.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Isaiah 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] HE: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

So this is what separates them from Christendom,which is counterfeit Christianity.They are Christians but go by the name Jehovahs Witnesses.They are unlike any of the other groups of Christians.



2. Why did you become a Jehovah's Witness.

I am not one yet.You have to become baptized in order to be one.A Christian must be baptized in water to show his or her dedication to God.The reason I am going to become baptized soon is because I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior and accepted the Word of God as true.The ones who have shown me this to be true are the JW's.It was by Gods grace of course but studying with the JW's has opened up my mind and shown me truth.No one on this earth has shown me more truth than the JW's.They pray read and study daily and attend meetings and conventions all over the world.They dedicate their entire lives to serving God as was commanded in the holy scriptures.Not just on sundays like the majority of the people do.They are serious.

Yes,I am on my way to becoming a baptized Jehovahs Witness soon:) I use the name Bible Student because it perfectly describes me.

Hi Icebuddy,

1) Daniel 12:4-- because they are the only teachers correcting the errors so that Daniel 12:4 can be fulfilled. Then when one learns truth--they can accomplish this( possibly) John 4:22-24)

2) The only teachers I could find who teach Jesus' truths.
