But you don't know that. It is not about Jesus though, it is about the fact that you guys have so little respect for those of us that believe in Him, that you:
1) Ask about whether certain adjectives can be attributed to Him that demean who the man was
2) Continue to make fun and jest even though you now know there are some of us who are a more than a little uncomfortable about it
I am more hurt at the fact that you guys, who I hold in high regard, would treat my beliefs with disdain and disrespect.

then i must appologise. i hold a strong belief in christ myself, and i am sorry if you found me offensive.

i try to incorperate christ into all of my life, and sex is apart of that. i do not think that attributing sex to jesus demeans him or his message, because jesus came in love and joy. but in my honest oppinion, i think that for me to have the intimate relationship i want to have with jesus, the highest form of love i have ever known is for a spouse, and as such, i associate those feelings to jesus.

Haha, interesting question. Well He could not look too good, if He did then His message would get less attention then His looks.

I am heterosexual, but I still have an opinion on whether a woman is attractive or not.
i know, i can find women to be sexy too, i just wanted to yank her chain :D

Been real busy,

Back on the scene!

Well what do we have here, was Jesus sexy.

Didn't wear the biggest loin cloth as I recall. Seriously, he delivered a good speech and people find that pretty sexy. He may have sounded like Barry White, holy moly, that and water into wine he'd have a pick of oll the trim in Jerusalem.

Never carried much coin though and if he never dropped his troosers then how would he keep the ladies attention? assuming the women at the time were as greedy and shallow as your average American woman.

The majority of American women are greedy and shallow. Maybe no more than anyone else but as this forum has it's fair share of American women I will say that. Not really fair to trash African women on this forum although they can be just as bad.

Doesn't an overly friendly appraoch to debate . .

Having your face ripped off on a religious forum would seem a little harsh. But then crucifixtion was a valid punishment back in the day so you never know.

You know what, Mr. Suspicious, I'm inclined to agree with you, as American and female as I am. All my close friends are guys... However, look at how women, and men, are being socialized in America. Consider the influence of the media. How are women portrayed and glorified on the tv and in movies? Have you ever looked in a girly magazine? Scary stuff. No wonder we have so many young girls weighing 90 pounds and trying to take off another 5. What about all the commercials geared towards women? Diamonds are a girls best friend... What about music? That terrible Hump song, anyone? Women are taught from an early age that men buy you stuff and then you put out.

Ah, he qualified it as American women, so I'm just gonna lean on the bar and watch as someone tears his face off.:D
He is not respected enough to tear his face off. Mr Suspicious and Rogue Believer always seem to come on the forum at the same time and their comments are usually meant to incite. I wonder if they are the same person and have asked that question before. I won't give them the satisfaction of starting a brawl. They picked on Buttons before.

but is that a reflection of the women of America or American culture in general being materialistic and superficial??

a question for another thread though, lets stay on topic
