All I know about Canada is that when I took a trip up to BC they had killer weed. I'm talking one hit. Mother of God I love Vancouver.

Vancouver pot smokers? They make me sick. Only sadhus and yogis from India understand the proper use of ganja, even then some of these are frauds and fakirs (often not even coming from a Hindu family) especially in Nepal. I am not for draconian pot laws, but nor do I like the preponderous dregs I see hanging around the SkyTrain.

I have relatives in BC, so I go there often but don't appreciate the sogs near downtown who run up to your car at a stop sign, throw a cup of dirty water from a coffee shop paper cup on your windshield and slop the filmy jal with a dirty rag three times while you try to wave them to stop and then they aggresively knock on your glass car window on the passenger side where your wife is sitting to demand money and when the light changes or traffic is clear purposely try to antic a manouver such that they can claim some fake injury and get some claims money.

Of course these pot smokers aren't as bad as the ugly souls in the San Francisco Tenderloin who try to aggressively carouse money from you or "..I will throw AIDS blood on you".

Speaking of the SkyTrain, another problem beautiful Vancouver has besides pot is Listerine.

Yes the mouthwash.

These pot dregs and bums get on the SkyTrain and drink Listerine to get drunk (god knows what they are doing to the long term bodily functions as a result of such habits). It's disgusting and then the train security has to deal with these slime losers. I guess that is what Vancouver pot does to your mercury polluted brain, the next you know your hanging on a SkyTrain chugalugging Listerine to get drunk, thinking you are better than everyone else and blaming all your loser problems on George Bush.

A DUI high on marijuana rear-ended my sedan in California and had sent my wife to the hospital. He was stinking of pot. I could of, and almost did, give his face (he was a skinhead type) a good beating but my cop friends took care of him. This problem is spreading and your chances of being killed by one of them in L.A. is almost a high as getting frontended on the Hollywood Freeway by a drunk beer slogged illegal alien from Mexico. It is happening in BC too.

Back to the SkyTrain, I love it though, and always wanted one of those high quality metal toy trains that their employees can buy from a catalog, but keep forgetting to order one everytime I'm in Vancouver. Totally cool.

I have a relative who works for the SkyTrain, she badly injured her arm in a work related injury related to some broken access door. She has now been waiting while off work for 3 months trying to see a specialist under Canada's "great healthcare" system. But for all it's faults, it is way better than the disaster called Obamacare.

This same relative got some "tax notice" regarding some sale of funds from her SkyTrain retirement program (sort of like a 401k) which she never did. After endless phone calls with "administrators" and all sorts of tears, eventually it was figured out that a pool of bureaucrats somehow were dipping into SkyTrain employee retirement accounts doing short sales (sell the fund, use the money to buy some "hot stock" then putting the money back into the retirement account "before anyone notices" but in this case weren't able to cut the profit before some tax process kicked in and these tax notices were sent out). It wasn't reported in the government controlled CBC news

Speaking of corruption in Canada, one of the things I like about it is, unrelated to my relative, I have a connection with some guy to the SkyTrain and I get these big rubber banded sets of ride tickets so I get to go everywhere for free (well at the cost if Canadian taxpayers). These folks get these packets like sock stuffings.

Speaking of taxes, one thing I like is now the overall tax hit is less in Canada than under Democrats here in America. Unfortunately, Burger King is moving it's HQ to Canada. I say unfortunate because the hat on backwards crowd loves Burger King and they cause a lot of trouble "hanging out" and eating that crap in addition to hanging out in front of liquor stores and bellowing clouds of pot on innocent children wanting a BK Bigfish causing the little kid to have panic attacks. So Canada is going to suffer if Burger King starts setting up operations there, though if the Canadian economy buckles when Enterovirus D68 arrives on the backs of a Guatemalian "refugee" into Montreal they may be eating a lot at Burger King.

As for good looking Canadian girls, I am a happy married man. But they have cute ones, but that is true anywhere in the world pretty much. But what is nice is exotic. Like some of those very cute First Nations girls. But they are no way as cute as our (America) Navajo, Hopi girls no way. Some of these are vavoom.

In the year 2525, if Canadians are still alive...
In the year 8510, if God is gonna' get here he ought to've been here by then...
Before the next stop hell...
He's gonna ride the SkyTrain off the rail...
Then start over again.

My version.

We have 4 groups of African Americans ... runaway slaves, direct from Africa, via the Caribbbean (i,e- Jamaica, Barbados) and from USA. These four groups provide substantial diversity. There were several runaway slave farming communities in western Canada.

This multiculturalism thing is never simple. :)

True, that. Yes, we do have some descendants of slaves. I was only thinking of the friendly Senegalese guy who owns the laundromat. :D

Well, considering I didn't "call our own demographics issues the end all be all of racial tension" I really don't know what you're referring to.

Be honest. Canada is overwhelmingly WHITE WHITE WHITE WHITE WHITE. Much more so than the US.
Canada Demographics Profile 2014

Not only that, but the disparity between rural and urban demographics is very striking - there are MANY more ethnic groups represented in urban areas than in rural areas.

Another major difference between minority ethnic groups in Canada and in the US is that Canada has a much lower rates of illegal immigration, due to the fact that Canada doesn't have a vast southern border that it shares with a country filled with people so desperate that they consider life as an illegal, disenfranchised non citizen a better alternative than life as a legal citizen in their own country. Illegal immigrants tend to be poverty stricken, less educated, and less healthy than those who immigrate legally.

Our second largest minority group is African Americans, whose ancestors were nearly all brought here against their will as slaves. The ramifications of slavery continue to be felt even fifty plus years after the Civil Rights movement.

So, our two largest ethnic groups generally have some pretty significant issues, and generally come from less healthy, stable, and affluent backgrounds than legal immigrants and their descendants.

And finally, Canadian minorities are more largely Asian than other ethnic groups - and those Asians tend to be more recent immigrants. This differs significantly from the various ethnic groups in the US, many of which have had a strong presence in the US for over 100 years.

The two scenarios are very different and thus the racial issues differ as well.

Er - did you actually read your own link?

This is hilarious! I agree, you should stop visiting Canada!

Everything would be Canadian, Luis, that's the whole point of annexation. Canadian bourbon, Canadian cars, Canadian National Football League. Everything. American Airlines would be Canadian Airlines.

No more American Football = less spouse abuse
