YmirGF: Opethian: My belief in God is not based on any book. It's based upon logic, and faith, but the faith came many years after the logic. The universe is so complex that it is illogical for it all to be accidental.
Very well said Brother...God gifted us with Logic and then faith....so that we can recognize true faith...As I belong to the faith of Islam...Islam requires logic explanation of everything..It tells you not to have blind faith...like other religions do..(the more it is nonsense the more it is religion)...go out and find the truth for your selr...seek logical explanations...Quran gives you hints and tells you to study and acquire knowledge so that you can have logical explantions to believe in the Quran...as many place God says ...AND IN THIS IS A SIGN FOR THOSE WHO PONDER...OR FOR THE MEN OF UNDERSTANDING...God gifted us with Science so that we can recognize Him..."They say...O God you have not created this for nothing, Glorified are you"...like many religions in the world...Prophet Muhammed was send to whole mankind unlike other Prophets and he said "Seeking of knowledge is obligatory for every Muslim" The media represents Muslims to be illiterate fools..when the truth is that seeking knowledge is one of the main part of Islam, its Objective is to liberate man and woman,..because a liberated mind cannot be fooled.....Islam has a vision of Peace..to bring together the whole of humanity...I guess I have typed a lot and took a lot of time of yours...thanks for reading Brother..Regards, Mehrosh

The book of revelation , the last one in the bible means ...........an uncovering or an unvailing...........and it sure is being unvailed in this time of the end, many prophecies in the book of Daniel are connected to the book of revelation. And as for you, O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of [the] end. Many will rove about, and the [true] knowledge will become abundant Daniel 12;4....its all happening its being uncovered, for those who have insight.
And he went on to say: "Go, Daniel, because the words are made secret and sealed up until the time of [the] end. Many will cleanse themselves and whiten themselves and will be refined. And the wicked ones will certainly act wickedly, and no wicked ones at all will understand; but the ones having insight will understand DANIEL 12;9-10 Yes it sure is a revelation in this time of the end .........
Brother go back to your Bible and look for the spirit Jesus has mentioned...which will not arrive unless Jesus leaves(glad tidings of a Prophet to come)...Regards and thanks in advance..

ahhh yes ,Glad tidings, there is plenty of that going on allover the world"I saw another angel flying in midheaven, and he had everlasting good news to declare as glad tidings to those who dwell on the earth."—REVELATION 14:6
And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come matthew 24;14

It is good to see science has advanced to tell us all this...the Qur'an told this to us more than 1400 years ago............"Haven't the unbelievers seen that the heavens and the earth were joined together (in one singularity), then we clove both of them asunder.” (21:30)....... Even hostile critics of Islam have grudgingly vouched for the purity of the Holy Qur’ân: "THERE IS PROBABLY IN THE WORLD NO OTHER BOOK WHICH HAS REMAINED TWELVE CENTURIES (now fourteen) WITH SO PURE A TEXT." — (Sir William Muir)

Lol. Well overinterpretation is a mighty tool :D.

That is exactly what you are doing.....overinterpretating the Quran....Well Thanks any way that atleat you talked about it....I invite you to interpret something that will happen 1000 years later...lets see how well you do it? you can do it better than a 7th century desert man...Right??

John14:15-16 "If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father and He shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you forever."------------"another Comforter" is Muhammed, the Messenger of God; and him to "abide forever" means the perpetuity of his laws and way of life and the Book which was revealed to him...........John 15:26-27---"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me; And ye also bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning."--------------"he shall testify of me" the Quran talks about Jesus by name at 25 places and confirms that Gospel of Jesus is from God.....John 16:5-8-"But now I go my way to Him that sent me and none of you asketh me 'Whither goest thou?' But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and approve righteousness and judgment."------The law of Judgment given to Muhammed if applied the world will come to peace.......John 16:12-14---"I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. How be it when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me; for he shall recieve of mine and he shall shew it unto you"---Muhammed never spoke of himself "He speaks not of himself.. but what is revealed to him" Muhammed Glorified Jesus and gave the predictions of future to come...many have past and many are to come---John 16;16 "A little while and ye shall not see me; and again a little while, ye shall see me, because I go to the Father."---The person who is described by Jesus to come after him--in the above verses--does not comply with any other person but Muhammed the Messenger of God. This 'person' whom Jesus prophesied will come after him is called in the Bible 'Parqaleeta' This word was deleted by the later interpreters and translators and changed at times to 'Spirit of TRUTH', and at other times, to 'Comforter' and sometimes to 'Holy Spirit'. The original Greek and its meaning is 'one whm people praise exceedingly.' The English Translation of the Arabic word "Muhammed"

Sounds like the quarks is a pretty amazing thing. The perfect building block for a universe that can even create itself.

In all of our scientific research has a quark ever just so happened to create itself in a lab?

I wonder how this amazing quark made time? And even moreso, why?

I also wonder how these elements that joined together just so happened to create the mysterious thing that causes something to not only exist but become alive.

How does a quark or element do that?

The mechanics of quantum phenomena, the vagaries of evolution are just evidence that there was an intelligence behind creation. I don't condone teaching that in school, where religion is best kept free by keeping unwarranted pressure away from children, but I do believe that this universe and all the other univ erses of Creation were caused by the will of God, expressed by "WORD": "BE!"

The universe was not self-created, but the creatures of Creation in a metaphorical sense are. But that self-creation is God designed. Quarks had no choice in combining. It was their nature to combine, and God was the designer of their nature. The electrons, protons, neutrons and their anti-matter cousins had no choice but to combine, it was their nature. It was the nature of Population I stars to combine elements up to the complexity of IRON and then by creating too much iron destroy themselves in super-novae to give birth in that destruction to all the other more complex elements. And it was the nature of the ejected stellar matter to coalesce into Population II stars and the planets containing all the elements needed for life. And it was the nature of life to come into being.

This is all because God willed it so.

Scott

Well, at least that's a lot better than most of the basic religions. I do have to disagree with you on the universe being too complex to be illogical to have been an accident. OK, you can conclude that you don't really know how it happened, but there's no way you can really say that it can't have arisen because of a quantum fluctuation.

Ushta Opethian

What makes you think that the quantum Fluctuation was an accident Evidence? Proof? Thought it up because you can not picture a Creator? What?
