The Supreme God of Hinduism

Where is Kalicharan when we need him?
How many times I've told you "I am no more here", and again how many times that, "I'll continue following your posts as time permits"?

He's a Kali-Aditi Bhakta.
Brother you know my secrets. I've loved Her day in day out..

He, and I as well,
would state that if there was a Supreme
God, an Absolute, it would be a Goddess
and not a God.
Absolutely. Don't worry time will come when everyone will know. Recently, on HDF in a post Yajvan ji conceded that "The Whole" (Sans. "Aditi") is "better" compared to "The One" (Supreme).

The reason for this is simple:
the Rg-Veda clearly insights that from Aditi
were born the Gods.
She, moreover, can be equally seen as Sum of All.

In fact, out of all the Gods and Goddesses,
it is Devi Usha that is summoned or called
with satya-mantra, true-prayer. No other
Deva or Devi is given such a bardic honor.
Keep the Truth-Flag flutter high, my friend!

Devi Parvati was given certain powers from
the Tridev. I would counter saying that w/o
Devi, the "male" Gods are powerless.

BTW, are you watching the new Mahabharata?
Asking because of your avatar, which is really
awesome.

Yes I am watching 'Mahabharat' :). I have thing for religious stuff.

I do know the story of her form Dhumavati. In the drama series 'Mahadev' Vishnu had to pacify her with song after she swallowed Shiva and started doing so to the universe. I don't take the series very seriously because they are not very loyal to the Hindu scriptures.
You might have seen some of the serial 'Ramayana'. The producer of 'Ramayana', Ramanand Sagar once said - 'Hari anant Hari katha ananta' (The Lord is infinite and so are the stories about the Lord). Hindus have no problems with different stories, even conflicting ones, because every story is for a particular teaching, a particular moral, or a particular ethics. We do not, and you too should not take Hindu mythological stories as history, but take it as teaching of a particular point. Then, you would understand Hinduism. My view (BTW, I am an atheist Hindu). Welcome to the forum, Draupadi. It is a common name for women in Sindh.

I get your points. But Shaktivites see Adi Parashakti or Parvati as the Supreme Goddess, so at least in your sect, shouldn't She have the 'trikaldarshan' power?

Well I will be honest I am fairly new to a lot of this.

What I do know is that in the Devi Bhagavatam there is a point in which every God, even the men become Shakti. All of them have a feminine form hidden beneath, all are one with the Divine mother. So any power or strength a Deity has Shakti has to. Also the "grand Goddess" (if you can call one such) that I know of is Parashakti she is equated with Brahman.
Adi Parashakti - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

She then made herself 3 for each of the 3 "main" male deities Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. She is the energy and power given to the universe to allow the actions to continue. She is the energy that allows the universe to swirl. Without her no action can operate.

Even in Gaudiya Vaishnavism it is believed that all things manifest are Shakti as she is the creative energy of God. However the soul/atma is not considered to be Shakti.
