I use to think hating the French was an American thing, and then this German lady I know explained to me that she will make extra stops on her flights between America and Germany to avoid going to France. Apparently even the Germans see the French as rude, arrogant, and smelly. But then again we think Germans are rude as hell for being so blunt (or, as I have heard it, their gift of overstating the obvious), and the Germans get annoyed with us for beating around the bush and not being upfront with people.
It's going to be fun being an American going out into the world and really only knowing people don't do things how we do them here. But at least I know not to touch art displays at museums.

So, the disc-changer in my stereo just went out, and the slide for the first disc is permanently stuck sticking out. For a few years the buttons haven't been working, and I have to usually push the same button several times to cycle through the different modes before it will seemingly randomly finally get to the one I want. I suppose I can't complain too much, because I've had this stereo for about 14 or 15 years, but as someone who listens to and collects vinyls, it's becoming harder to find stereos (at least not the super expensive kind) that have aux-in ports. I can find them with blu-tooth no problem, but my computer doesn't have blu-tooth.

With it being 6:30, I think it is time for a gulp of zzzquil and trance music.
Monday....and I have the day off too (which is my usual work day).
It is not possible to ask people who are not paying attention why they choose to avoid paying attention. It's a little frustrating to be sure.
If children were born as teenagers rather than infants, their parents would strangle them in their sleep and the human race would die out in a single generation.
I say this as the father of two of the most aggravating and obnoxious teenagers on the face of the earth. I just pray that my patience returns before my youngest two children become teenagers as well.

LOL I am half waiting for a fight now.
Her name in Michal and has been confused with her being a boy.
So I am now waiting to see if the financial aid goes through or if they tell me, "Your child doesn't need financial aid. His tuition is free"
Although...thinking about it...If I had kept her original birth certificate...

I enjoy hitting things
ok seriously I enjoy martial arts but I also believe I would enjoy teaching what I do for a real job.....and I am looking into the possibility because this is getting way to annoying for me to keep showing up on a daily basis

Well I didn't hate it when I started...... but I sure am not fond of it now...but there is a lot associated with that, not just what I do.
I didn't hate property management when I became a landlord.
But I learned to hate it. It took a while, but I got out of it.
Many changes were needed. Don't hate what ya do.
