online Kirtan party

Jai Shree Ganesh

Thank you sister Ratikala for creating this thread and thank you all for sharing bhajans.

The following video song is a part of "Ramayan" TV series by Ramananda Sagar.

Sons of Shri Ram and Mata Sita reach Ayodhya assembly, take permission and narrate Ramayan story beautifully in the form of a song in front of Lord Shri Ram.

Truly there is in this world nothing so purifying as knowledge.- (Bhagwad Gita [4.38])

praNAm,
I didn't notice your message before, sorry about that.
Anyway, I just erased the t=11. Don't worry about the tags, they aren't necessary, I just like to bold things. Only put the stuff after v, but don't include the stuff after the #, nor the # sign itself in the tags, so for that video, you just put "IajM-tLxPFc" in the Youtube tags.

A poem by Swami Vivekananda where he worshipped the Divine Mother in the form of Kali... :namaste

KALI THE MOTHER

The stars are blotted out,

The clouds are covering clouds,

It is darkness vibrant, sonant.

In the roaring, whirling wind

Are the souls of a million lunatics

Just loose from the prison-house,

Wrenching trees by the roots,

Sweeping all from the path.

The sea has joined the fray,

And swirls up mountain-waves,

To reach the pitchy sky.

The flash of lurid light

Reveals on every side

A thousand, thousand shades

Of Death begrimed and black —

Scattering plagues and sorrows,

Dancing mad with joy,

Come, Mother, come!

For Terror is Thy name,

Death is in Thy breath,

And every shaking step

Destroys a world for e'er.

Thou "Time", the All-Destroyer!

Come, O Mother, come!

Who dares misery love,

And hug the form of Death,

Dance in Destruction's dance,

To him the Mother comes.
